Great video! I just can't see spending 1500 bucks on a Blade helicopter when there are so many better options out there. But hey, the kit looks really nice. They have come a long way. Cheers!
The very first thing I said when I saw this come out. I will be glad to see the build videos and flight videos from regular people. I just can't get the bad taste out my mouth. That thin tail boom is sketchy as well.
@@corykelson Glad your experience in this respect was better than mine and anybody who bought the original "Pro line". When you say "Blade Fusion", that covers quite a few helis however (from the Fusion 180 through to the 420). Blade always had better sales figures for the smaller BNF/pre-built helis. When it came to competing against Align/SAB/Tron/Mikado etc in the more "Pro" market (550, 600, 700+ sizes in kit-only form), Blade didn't bring either enough innovation nor price differential. That's why the Pro line failed, it had nothing to sway people away from established manufacturers in this sector. Unless this new effort at 700 kit-based models brings that difference, I fear sales of this 700 will be as disappointing as their original 700X. If the sales don't match expectations, don't assume Blade will continue to commit spend to manufacturing the parts would be my observation.
@@tomatwaldenYeah, Blade just couldn't compete in the market back then unfortunately. I think what is different now is that Blade has slowly inched their way in by putting better quality kits out slowly. They didn't just release another 700 out of nowhere. The 480/550 stretch has sold well from day one and there is a bigger fan base to sell a 700 to now. This new combo is in line with new Align combos pricewise. But with a newer modern day fbl with reciever unlike align with that decade old microbeast. If this 700 is anything like the fusion 550, it will be a very robust, reliable and great performing helicopter. It's simple. And it works. I actually like that they are not trying to copy what all the other manufacturers are doing. But my experience with Blade is clearly different than yours and I understand why you feel like you do towards them.
They did. It wasn’t really what I’d call an epic failure though. The heli was pretty decent. Their sales were low because they had a reputation for making crappy micro helis and they were going up against some real heavy-hitters in the big heli game. But before they had time for word to spread and people to Guinea pig them, new ownership over the corp dictated that it be ditched. Didn’t really give it a chance. So maybe that’s a failure. But more of a money hungry tyrant issue than a bad heli issue.
Lol I have the tb 70 and it's not close to this with the 12mm main shaft and 8 mm feather shaft weak main gears I made a video on all the issues with that kit they finally corrected all the problems by selling a 100 dollar v2 kit upgrade lol
@@jpjplace4355 it's odd I already have the tron 7.0 also the xlpower 700 v2 world champion edition and this is just as good or better considering it's much cheaper in price comes with some of the best servos and 200 amp esc
I still fly my blade 600x and have a replacement whole kit. Can't wait to get my hands on the new 700 fusion, looks like a very nice heli.
Thanks HeliDirect for the professional unboxing. The video was well done.
😂 sounds like he recorded this in a bathroom
Great vid thank you, that canopy is huge!
great video and presentation....looks like a nice heli
Nice combo 💯
a 4735 size motor! damn! also the tail looks like a slim jim when compared to other helis with thicker booms.
Thats awesome
i can tell that the main blades are from RT .. but great video as always from heli direct!! Horizon surprised us
Not rotor tech
@@28EduardoSierra Fun key

As a Blade 700X owner, I would worry about HH ditching support for this in 2025 ....
@@tomatwaldenAs a Blade fusion owner, not at all worried about them discontinuing this. It has been here since 2018.

Whats the difference between the Spektrum fc6250hx and the new fc6350hx?
Same software as 6250hx but in a full metal case.
When are you gonna fly it.
Nano is the daddy 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Wow I have seen you in years bro
@ Mike.. a few years ago and now are 2 different times
$1799? Dude, buy a Steam AK700 or Goosky RS7 and outfit it the way you want for a little more.
Did Blade do this a few years back with a 700 size that turned out to be an epic failure
Yes, but this looks like a Align style kit, who knows...

Buy microphone
Excellent unboxing, however the heli is waaaay to cookie cutter.
Bad sound
Your better off buying an Align 700 combo.. this heli looks very dated for a new release

@@nikosystem1 what I am saying is the new blade is not impressive at all.. don’t waste your money on it cause it will be discontinued in a year
