This deluxe box set features Coleman’s first albums as a bandleader, Something Else!!! and Tomorrow is the Question!. Both albums were originally recorded by legendary engineer Roy DuNann and have been newly mastered by Bernie Grundman, whom DuNann was a mentor for. Also included is a 32-page booklet with photos and extensive new liner notes by GRAMMY® Award-winning music historian Ashley Kahn.

A beautifully presented box set, great value for money and superb music. I'd love to see more releases like this; I actually prefer these authentic reproduction single sleeves to the gatefold variety other labels are offering. The vinyl is super heavyweight, flat and quiet, audiophile quality pressings. I would have no hesitation whatsoever recommending this to any potential buyers.

Are these jackets Stoughton as well?

I believe they are. They're not hi-gloss like some Blue Note & Impulse reissues, but the quality of paper stock and printing are both excellent (and it includes a great 32 page booklet). I can definitely confirm that the vinyl is pressed at RTI = guaranteed quality.
