It all started during the COVID-19 pandemic when most of us are all indoor, work from home, unable to visit my fave coffee shop more often. So I decided to own my first espresso machine, give it a try and share my experiences. Then my coffee corner was borne.

Wow, what brand of coffee do you use?
This was impressive
Thank you for watching!
Just recently got the niche, what setting are you typically around after dialing it in?
For the beans I'm using, grind size 17 and 18. Make sure you calibrate the Niche Zero first before using and tighten the bolts (it will loose overtime).
have you found major improvements on both steaming and brewing after upgrading to lelit mara x? I'm thinking to upgrade but can't decide whether it's worth it or not.
E61 type machines are built like a tank, like Lelit MaraX is better and a prosumer machine, close to commercial machine. Quality of shots, steam power and consistency. This video is my second coffee bar for family/guests which focus on ease of use.
@@HomeBaristaCorner looking for an upgrade for my delonghi dedica.. absoulutely loved the maachine as introduction on espresso world. What would you recommend for a better upgrade. My must features are 1) easy to start/heat up, less than 10 mins 2) timed/volume based shots, 3) less than 1500$
@@PilipinasKongMahal021 hi kabayan! If that's the case I will choose the Breville Dual Boiler. Regarding the warm up time, with any machine, the workaround is you can actually buy smartplug or smart switch to schedule to turn on/off with your phone.
Does having a bottomless portafilter makes any different for a machine such as bambino plus? I am using bottomless portfilter and have been facing quite a bit of channeling issue, wasted at least 150g of coffee bean trying to dial in the grind size and puck prep.
How old is the beans from roasting date? What grinder you pair with?
The beans is about 2 - 3 months from Lavazza (Using it to dial in my new grinder, I have a fresh 1 month roast pack from Perk but leaving it for later), grinder is Timemore 78s
@@lvlaTr1X based from reviews, 78s requires more seasoning (kilograms of coffee beans) before you're able to achieve drinkable espresso. 2-3months is considered stale beans and prone to channelling/difficult to dial-in. Season the 78s well, use freshly roasted beans from your local roaster (1-3 weeks old from roasting date is ideal).

Can you please link your dosing cup (which i see does fit inside the niche zero dosing cup in your other videos)? I am trying to find a way to move from niche zero into the breville 54mm portafilter.
Bought this in a physical store. You can search in Amazon for dosing cup compatible for Breville 54mm portafilter. Usually the exact size is 53.3mm dosing cup.
Hey, what portafilter are you using?
54mm portafilter compatible for Breville (Double Spout)
Thanks.
Is it thw CrossCreek one?
Why am I struggling to get a nice foamy milk and you simply leave it for a minute under the wand and then its done? 😢
Here's my recommendation just like what I did in the video.
1) full cream fresh milk
2) milk must be cold
3) transfer to another bigger milk jug
4) tap and swirl the milk
5) pour immediately
I assume you know he’s using an automatic steamer? (Bambino plus)
Hello, what level temp and froth settings are you using? Thanks!
Temp = 3 bars
Froth = 2 bars
Goddamn that grinder looks sweet and would fit with my white machine, but sooo expensive...
Curse this hobby lol
That shot of espresso was too fast. It should be around 30 seconds. Surely the Niche is a waste of time, if you don't aim for a high extracton?
When you're brewing a dark roast (the video), it doesn't have to be 30secs. We dial-in by taste. 30secs is just a starting point.
