Well done Gar, great bit of filming. These videos really help users to get there head around the programs before setting off to the fields. Good work. 👍
Saw many different users on the JDUK22 rally last week with Deus 2's . One lady had such an amazing day "the best day detecting I've ever had" where her words . I asked shat programme she was using and she said it was SENSITIVE FT all day. She had half sovereign about 10 hammereds, mixed cut halves and cut quarter and fulls . Awesome programme 👍...... and as always grate videos Gary
Thanks as always Gary! Was great to meet you at Detectival, albeit very briefly. Must admit I’ve been a slave to Relic mode as I love it so much, but this has made me think about the FT mode much more than I had. I shall give it a whirl! Thanks as always & best wishes, Marcus
I love the sense ft. I can walk with my eyes closed or look at birds and animals while detecting. It has become a peace of my whole body, i realy love it💪
Well done again Gary, these Deus II program series videos are going to so very useful for so many users, excellent work. Kinda got me thinking about the sensitive FT program, when you dug those 3 targets in the stubble,,,,,, I’ve always thought that using -6.4 disc is the way to go, and in my opinion FT/Hot is unbeaten in dense iron,,,,,, Just imagine if XP could design a new program based on FT/Hot, but allowing the user to raise the tone pitch for the low conductors, to the same pitch if fully adjusted to the sound of the high conductors,, targets would certainly jump out from the iron noise, lots of low conductors can easily get masked by the low grunt of the iron noise…….. call it “Custom FT” perhaps,, I think this, if available would undoubtedly be my go to program!…. Just a thought.. Dave.
You explain so well that even I, who am not in the field, understand, but I am afraid that if I watch many videos like this one, I will enter the field with an xp device. 🍻
To me audio is very important, been using analog machines for many years, until i got the Rutus Alter. Love that machine! Not because it has VDI, but because of the full tones options, in combination with the dual tone. (Motion disc + non-motion allmetal at the same time) I really wish XP would implement that feature into the D2. Dunno if its possible through a software update. I love my D2, but miss the dual tone options I had with my RA71. It gives so much more info on size and depth of the targets.
Good video Gary. I use FT and do get away with Sensitivity 98 on all my fields. Haven't messed with audio response but will have a play with it tomorrow.
Better than ignoring targets with lower IDs is to lower the sens e.g. to 85, if you have many small trash targets in the field. With that setting I still hit a beautiful lead button in more than 10 inches depth.
As always very interesting, I have not tried full tone. I might give it a try next time I go out. Some times you just want to hit the high ones. Thanks, 👍
Good video Gary, Just wondering the thinking behind the higher silencer in factory Sens FT compared to Sens and even the HOT program on D1? I am finding silencer at 0 or 1 better in Full Tones. Audio response certainly can lift a deep signal, especially on pasture using Full Tones.
Thanks Dan, if you can run the silencer lower that's good news. I find I have to use it to stop the spikes from small Roman hobnails. I think the round top confuses the machine.
Great video again Gary but according to XP it is not recommended to change anything to the default settings. :-) This results in an extra fast draining battery. Maybe it's an idea to also tell us how much extra power all these adjustments have for the life of the battery.? My D2 (9 inch) lasts less than six hours with a small adjustment as explained in these videos. XP lists nice 12 - 20 hours. Currently my coil is back to XP for research. It is clear that something is not right in the D2 and can perhaps be solved with a software update. To be continued....
Sensitive and deep HC is basically all you need on the field. Love them and the D2!
Thanks for your thoughts
With sens 95 (if possible) and XY screen and old school deus1 sounds :)

Great video, Gary. You know I'm a fan of FT, even for the mid and low ones :) Great pendant!
I pretty much put full square tones on my programs. I like the deus light configuration mostly unless I’m using relic or Goldfield.
They are good programs

headed back to colchester in 2 weeks. looking forward to swinging the deus2 but such a wider variety of good signals there as opposed to usa
Great find, pendant, pointing down for more targeted finds, yes.
Love those pendants🤩 one of my favourite finds👍

Great information Gary keep up the good work.
When will new videos be out explaining the changes in versions 1.0, and 1.1?

Hi, see you using the 9" coil do you prefer it over the 11.
I'd have loved to have seen the detail on that pendant. I know that's not the point of these videos, but I'd still love to see it.
Sadly the detail was not good.
@@The-skillschool Thanks for the update!
Very informative video, thank you!
Garry can you recomend the deus 2 or is the deus 1 ok . getting one of them cheers mate
Hi Brian
It all depends on budget, if that's not a problem the DII has Deus Mono which is basicaly a D1. So you get both machines with a DII.
@@The-skillschool thanks mate deus 2 then. take care happy diggin
