I think the historical inaccuracies can be explained by the Templars rewriting history to hide themselves in the shadows which plays with the secrecy of Abstergo and can be interweaved in the story.
For instance in Watch Dogs Legion, The Frye Twins are considered to be London's most notorious gang leaders even though truly they were Assassins.
I know that they're not historical figures but it's a great example of Abstergo changing the story.
That's a believable theory
and worse that Darcy didn't know anything about Edward (when she sees Frye twins she recognized them but Edward she did not) which makes you think how much they (Abstergo) have "rewitten" history
June 25th, 1745 is when Franklin wrote his treatise on the benefits of taking an older woman as a lover. I read the original when I was younger and was stoked to see it in AC3.

Ac3 is one of the most detailed games in the series, they really went all out on the animus database entries, characters, and the timeline. Wish we couldve saw Connors journey continue
Fun fact: at the start of ac3 haytham mentions that he has been to the theatre with his dad (Edward) which is connected to the end of ac4

I just started replaying AC3 for the first time since it came out and I always remembered the combat being WAY more fun than the newer titles. Playing it now I realize it’s because you practically insta-kill everyone and the counter attack window is huge
I kinda wish the gameplay was like this and I prefer the beta assassin robes to the one we got imo

The name of the homestead’s inn may or may not foreshadow the game’s modern conclusion. The homestead inn’s name is Mile’s End. also the removal of certain features from the beta build were done because they were inaccurate to the tribe. The tribe representation is per Ubisoft actually having an authentic consultant. The homestead content is largely optional. However to better understand ‘Connor’ you should play all homestead memories. Also the Peg Leg missions give you more time to spend with your Aquila crew. Robert Faulkner, Aquila first mate is voiced by Kevin McNally. McNally was Joshamee Gibbs in the Pirates of Caribbean films.
The original ending and plan is so much better than what we got!

The first part of the video with ac3 that isn't even connor and that's completely OK and I more disappointed that ubisolf didn't put this version of the game as the final product cause this looks way better than what we got with the ac3 that we got when it released
I think the plot for the original story actually could’ve worked but of course what we got instead was the results from a disagreement.
