I watched a show called “The Food That Built America”. In the episode about Reese’s, it said the overcooking the peanut butter was an accident which led to the cups’ iconic tasting peanut butter. They’re my favorite candy bar. The holiday ones are fantastic!
I like how there's no actual footage of the things being described. This is more like a fan video than the documentary on how it's made. It's like the same footage over and over.
Yea hes talking about the unique cup forming process, but what were seeing is making cupcake sized reese cups in a home DIY recipe, with reese factory srock footage where we occasionally get a glimpse of how its actually done
I would like to thank Reese's for making these a wonderful amazing candies and I hope that the Reese's company will see this I hope this brightens your day thanks I'm a major fan of Reese's candies from the United States Sean I thank you so about the 😅 z's
My kids got a lot of Reese's last night while trick or treating and I snuck a few out of their bags. So I'm watching this while (sneakily) eating some peanut butter cups! 🤣
Can we use some of this footage, with proper credit, for and editorial video we are putting together on candy manufacturing. Please let me know ASAP as we have a tight deadline. Thank you so much
I love Reese’s cups but beginning a diabetic I can only eat one in every blue moon, I wish they would come out with a suger free Reese’s cup, I wonder how they would taste? Thoughts?
I am from Pakistan and lived in USA for two years and that is where I got introduced to this candy AKA Chocolate and Peanut Butter Heaven. Love this candy the most.
Anyone else prefer the King size? I eat the hard edge chocolate all the way around first then I’m left with this nice thick peanut butter with just the thin layer of chocolate on top and bottom. It’s so freaking good this way. Cause when you eat them normally the delicious peanut butter dissolves faster than the chocolate of the harder edge sections.
I Worked On A Resses Cup Production Line. At Hershey's. It's A Very Fast& Can Be Hard At Times. Especially With The Foils That Sit In The Trays. You Have To Make Sure There Is Only One In Each Slot For The Cup. Occasionally You Also Had To Scrap Out Any Chocolate In The Cup Tray. In Order For The Cup To Be Centered. Then The Finish Product. You've To Make Sure It Doesn't Have Any Defects. Also To Make Sure That Only One Cup Is In The Slot. & It Goes Under A Roller.& Then On To The Packaging There Were Times When We Always Had To Take The Trays Off The Line. & Stacked On A Rack. To Get Cleaned & Sanitized.& Put Back On The Line. It Can Get Very Messy. Plus You Had To Wear Little Finger Things On Your Hand To Handle The Little Black Foil Cups.
The quality of the content for this program, which me and my kids watched together in the early 2000’s, has fallen dramatically. Reusing the same video footage, no video of the machine, not necessarily the actual jets, molds, etc. very sad day
My dream is to one day get to eat a Rpbc fresh right off the line. The freshest 😂 nothing ruins my day more than biting into an old dried out Reese’s 😢
I am from the department quality control of the FDA. I will need to taste test all of Hershey products to ensure it’s safe to eat for everyone else lol 8-31-23
Repeated stock footage of no actual Reese’s cups being made, footage doesn’t even match the dialog, monotonous voiceover… all the hallmarks of poor production. Was this made by AI? Thumbs waaay down and channel blocked.
Reese changed the formula. It's not what I grew up with. It was my favorite, but now I could care less. It seems it has more honey type flavor now. Why change, bring back the classic Reese taste
@How It's Made: The how its made that is US only, so it will not be in the same in Canada. I have one right now from Canada because I live in Canada. And I know I would not like the one from the US. People that are used to the taste in the US of their Reese's Peanut Butter cups, would hate the taste of the one from Canada even thought it is the same company. Just to prove that I'm not lying I have one that I have not eaten yet since I already eaten the other one, and I'm only going to eat the other one tomorrow. So I can write the ingredients here. Millk chocolate[sugars(sugar, lactose), Cocoa Butter, Milk ingredients, Unsweetened chocolate, lecithin (soy), Polyglycerol polyricinoleate], Peanuts, Sugars (Sugar, Dextrose), Salt, TBHQ, Citric Acid.

What streaming platform is it on? :]
History Channel
Eating bat shaped one's right now!!
I couldn’t tell you how much I love Reeces. There is nothing better on this planet, I promise.
My boyfriend loves the holiday pumpkins for Halloween. So much so that I buy them for his birthday (in July) and Christmas!
I like how there's no actual footage of the things being described. This is more like a fan video than the documentary on how it's made. It's like the same footage over and over.
My thoughts exactly! It’s showing someone making some homemade bs.
It's pretty fitting to have zero footage to go along with the droning computer voice that reads topic headers without missing a beat.
That's because this entire video is generated by AI.
Not worth watching.
agreed this didn't answer any questions
Guess he had no actual footage of the machinery used to make these 😂
Probably because trade secrets.
Ikr. They probably want to keep all that confidential but it defeats the point of the video
That's because this entire video is generated by AI.
Not worth watching.
🛌🏿 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 7am July 4th, 2024.7
Right😂 and i noticed her finger press down on that peanut butter😂 no gloves...they cut it quick on that part 😂
Is this video supposed to be a joke? What it showing on the screen is not what the narrator is talking about.
Thank you this upset me. I wanted to see an actual Reese’s get made 😂
I think it’s ai generated
Not even showing what they’re describing 😂
Yea hes talking about the unique cup forming process, but what were seeing is making cupcake sized reese cups in a home DIY recipe, with reese factory srock footage where we occasionally get a glimpse of how its actually done

You got chocolate in my peanut butter,
No you got peanut butter in my chocolate.
Why dont you show each step in the making process ?
The narration doesn't match the video?
😂 I sought out this channel just to watch it while eating my Reese’s… makes it taste so much better!!!😂😂😂
Same here
Exactly what I'm doing lol
Literallyyy 😂💯
Same! 😂
Same. I mindfully eat my Reese’s. But i only lasted till 1:20
My kids got a lot of Reese's last night while trick or treating and I snuck a few out of their bags. So I'm watching this while (sneakily) eating some peanut butter cups! 🤣
I am ashamed of you. Can I have one?????
Who else eating Reese rn
Not me.
Hundred percent guilty!
Yep far too many
AI-generated slop. It literally says "Insert recipe or link to resume" at 5:18. It's a shame because the real How It's Made is a gem of a show
Thank you America for inventing something that I’m addicted to and I’m not complaining! I love these little things
Yw
I didnt know they mixed dark and milk together that makes sense why its so good
All I can say is a fresh Reese's and a cold Pepsi together can't be beat. 😋
Thoughts?
They do make sugar free ones that are aspartame-free. I see them at Walgreens every now and then!
Reeses cups have made me diabetic, I ate way too many for a long time.

You’re right in point. I do thee exact same. Good people you are
My favorite candy!
I've never seen a video that mismatched the audio so badly. Apparently they were not allowed much factory footage...
They also accidentally left in headers/ notes that didnt belong in the video “insert link to recipe”
That's because this entire video is generated by AI.
Not worth watching.
This is my favorite chocolate ever!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Is that a robot narrating?
Insert recipe or link to recipe at 5:19
Lol its like chalk on a board
Good chance it is

Why did you capitalize every word in your comment? This makes it _very_ irritating to read. I only got through two sentences before quitting.
I suspect poorly done AI narration. Not really a How its Made quakity. Little manufacturing footage.
This is my favorite treat!!! ❤❤❤
@anonymousbooth you just almost maybe never made me cry just now. 😅😅😂 😭 😅😊
The quality of the content for this program, which me and my kids watched together in the early 2000’s, has fallen dramatically. Reusing the same video footage, no video of the machine, not necessarily the actual jets, molds, etc. very sad day
My favorite candy and snickers 😋
That’s a sweet dream come true do you think they nail the peanut butter to chocolate ratio every time
Im sure his voice would do well for a crime show, but not for this...
My dream is to one day get to eat a Rpbc fresh right off the line. The freshest 😂 nothing ruins my day more than biting into an old dried out Reese’s 😢
Always buy holiday ones.. freshest in the store.. especially when just arrived off truck .
I could never work there. I'd
Be too busy eating all the cups on the cavarel belt.
I love it!!
I am from the department quality control of the FDA. I will need to taste test all of Hershey products to ensure it’s safe to eat for everyone else lol
8-31-23
I'm going to make some myself.
I can now say I watched the video on how Reese cups are made, and I still don't know how Reese cups are made..thanks
The slow seductive background music + the narrator with the accent for this video makes it 1000x better.
The narrator is a computer. FFS.
I don’t want to see someone homemaking something that’s not Reese’s. What on earth
This entire video is generated by AI. This horrible quality nonsensical gibberish is the future of UA-cam.
None of it will be worth watching.
I've always loved Reese's but knowing now they can't give their employees off one day a week...that's just greedy.i think I'm done with them.
I always wondered why you couldn’t Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups in Thailand?
No bs still my go to chocolate ❤
Reeses is my favorite candy
I didn’t know about the specific peanuts used.
thank you saar very good saar
I want their recipe! Looks better than Hershey’s
So when do they add the maggots?
the video showed chocolate going into a cup for all steps - would be nice have correct video to audio.
That's because this entire video is generated by AI.
Not worth watching.
Could you maybe not have the grainy old movie filter? It is very distracting. Great video though!
Now show the real video. Not in a kitchen with a spoon.
My favorite ❤❤❤
Was that an ungloved hand poking the food?
How do you make the pemutbutter in the reesee
There's no such thing as "peamutbutter."
This is not how PB cups are made at Reese’s.
Now i want a Reese so i made my own with hazel nut cocoa spread and peanut butter 😋
the part when we were talking about the cream in my opinion was the best part
Hey did u guys 👂 that a chocolate blend meaning it’s. Not real chocolate
Rumor has it that a bit of the peanut butter sauce gets mixed in with the chocolate
"Not real chocolate?" Reeses/Hersheys isn't real?! NO! You _must_ be kidding!
Where’s the footage???
Is the video backwards or what
The narrator talked more than showing the actual process of making the Reese’s cup.
They've gotten pretty expensive though.
🙄
And smaller than ever
Mmmm, smooth chocolate bottom 😂
yup i see the actual production process was kept away from the cameras
Voice sounds like a true crime documentary not a Reeses peanut butter cup. TBH
BRO. I WANT REESES NOW. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME
This isn't the real How It's Made. These people are imposters.
Repeated stock footage of no actual Reese’s cups being made, footage doesn’t even match the dialog, monotonous voiceover… all the hallmarks of poor production. Was this made by AI? Thumbs waaay down and channel blocked.
What am I watching? This is not the Reese’s factory
i’m watching this while i’m dieting and i’m suffering bro.. feels like death
I heard a rumour that a tiny bit of peanut butter is mixed in with the chocolate
Reese changed the formula. It's not what I grew up with. It was my favorite, but now I could care less. It seems it has more honey type flavor now. Why change, bring back the classic Reese taste
This doesn’t even show them making them! Just random people making homemade peanut butter cups. Lol wth!
my bro glenn likes that candy.
Why does he start talking in an American accent, and then switches to an Australian accent lol.
I love peanut "Budda"

I just eat 8 of them 😂😂😂
No actual footage of Reese’s being made
Sugar. Sugar makes it irresistible.
Didn’t even bother editing the “insert name here” from your ChatGPT copy & paste 😂😂😂
what a terrible presentation, reusing the same content and stock footage
This doesn't exactly show you just weird videos on loop
My favorite cady
using hard hsts but not the gloves is crazy
dark chocolate is just for taste. they can say depth of flavor but no its just chocolate
Your visuals throw me off with what your saying
This video did an amazing job with NOT showing how it's made. What's the point of it?
❤❤❤
So good, But it's so unhealthy if you eat beyond moderation.
Yep. I rarely eat them now because of increased cost.
@@JusticeAlwaystrue
He said 1920 is when peanut butter cups were introduced video was made in 2023 and bro said almost 100 years ago
I’ve would have thought that Snickers was on the same level as Reese’s.
No way
You know that saying… when something is greater than the sum of its parts?!? Well, this video is the opposite of that.
I wanted to know how they were made because everyone said they were so good but I never had one before! Am 14!
❤😮
Not one part of the video actually shows how they are made....
The cups that are shown in the very beginning aren't even close to Reese's😂 I know, because I am a professional Reese' PIG.🐽🥜
Praise 🙏🏿 Jesus 🙌🏻 Hi Five 🙏🏿
This was the least technically involved how its made ive ever seen.
Look how thick they were. They are paper thin now. 😢
Not a good video at all
AND NOTHING IN THE VIDEO IS RECEESE WHATSOEVER
I do eat reese
