2012 Matrix, driver's rear tail light assembly removal, bulb replacement. BACKUP CAMERA

My 87 year old mom decided she would benefit from a rear view camera, especially when using the parking lot at the grocery store.
I hunted for relevant videos for 2009 and up Matrix, with no luck, to remove the tail light assembly. I needed access to the back-up lights power, but also realized changing light bulbs was impossible without removing the assembly.
So I post this video, hoping it will help someone.

Thank you. Exactly what i needed. Definitely saved my hands and fingers.
Was trying to get that thing out in the dark and freezing cold, as it was filled with water that had gotten in through a crack and froze into a block of ice.

Thanx to your video with the location of the bolts and the clip that hides one I was able to remove the assembly through the hatch with the proper tools. 10 mm deep socket and a very small 1/4 drive socket wrench!!

Thanks this was helpful as I was worried about installing the backup camera. Now that I've completed it, my brother in Christ, why didn't you connect it to the right reverse light? Easily accessible from the little panel on the interior and then you run the wire behind the weather seal...

Thanks for the video, I had a hell of a time years ago; but figured out the side panels needed to be removed. Now I swap out all the bulbs except the main head lights every second spring.
