- Ever stayed at a hotel where the room was so quiet that you could hear everything through the walls, and every car that drove past? Or your kids could? Then you'll appreciate the new LectroFan portable white noise machine and its 10 fan sounds + 10 white noise sounds. Better yet, it gets really loud too, so it's also suitable for therapists offices or other environments where privacy is critical.

Omg, my boyfriend thinks my industrial fan collection is nuts. I didn't know this existed! I might try it, though I'm doubtful that it could drown out my neighbors like my fan.
Their most effective when you sit them on a window ledge because that is where all the outside noise comes in from is through your windows.
Precisely!
Thank You Sir Just Purchased from Amazon !
You have an amazing delivery. Easily the most enjoyable review of this product on youtube. Thanks!
Thanks. Much appreciated!!
Thank you, i think im gonna buy one of these for my Tinnitus
For some reason , you remind me of Alan Watts! Very cool !
true
Pmsl!
Thank you for this video! Going in to winter and loosing my fan from the summer, I need something to help me sleep i am extremely sound sensitive
Great review going to buy one now!
I have the Marpac noise machine, but the sound isn't restful, I wake up feeling rattled by sleeping in noise all night long. Is this any different?
Does it have a regular cycle or rhythm to it? Is the sound soothing? Sounds terrible! :-) I haven't heard the Marpac so I can't compare, but the Lectrofan has definitely helped my family sleep in hotel rooms many, many nights...
Do you have any other noise machines yuou can compare this to?
Thanks, this video helps a lot.
Superb review!
Thank you! Cheers!
So it's good to have for quiet rooms aswell?
Hi Dave. Wanna ask you which machine sounds better. Evo or Classic?
Honestly, since they're just background sounds, I don't know that there's a huge difference. I have a number of these and use them in different situations, finding them particularly beneficial when I'm traveling and in a hotel room!
Can this small machine reduce foot stepping noise from above unit or maybe blend in n reduce
Unfortunately if the sound is a distinct tapping sort of sound I fear the LectroFan might not be too effective.
will it totally overtone children screaming outside my - closed - windows, as well as banging car door and rubish bin lids, and blaring music from either outside or from my neighbours though the walls, and other really loud noises?
lol. Probably not. You might need to close your window :-)
my windows ARE closed, when those things happen!!!
I would never be able to leave them open, when these things happen outside. and when my nextdoor neighbours noises come through the wall, there is anyway no window I could close
Great review Thanks man!
Thanks!
My device manager won't recognize it for blue tooth. It messages 'driver not found'.
does your device support bluetooth?
@@AskDaveTaylor I don't know.
I don’t know how this would be better than my sound machine App on my devices?!
True, there are some very good apps for smartphones now. But the audio quality is a lot better on an external unit like this than the tiny little speaker on your phone. If you bring an external speaker along just for sleep, well, isn't this easier? :-)
Dave Taylor I use my mini iPad and the sound is very loud. I use White Noise App.
hoping this will block out the sound of the inconsiderate hotel/motel patron in the neighboring rooms who like to scream at the top of their lungs when having their ass fucked and also those who go out of their way to slam doors
for white noisy sound, I just turn on my computer. : )
Marpac is not loud enough. I am trying to drown out my upstairs neighbor. I will definitely buy this one today.
The noises sound unpleasant to me. I din't detect an ocean sound on this video.
There's no actual ocean sounds on the unit, Paul. it's basically cyclic and white noise. The other products from this company have a far wider range of sounds...
Thanks, Dave, for the prompt reply. I'm only aware of one other product from this company, and that is the cheaper micro-electrofan. Does this have a greater range of natural sounds that will lull, e.g. ocean waves or rain? I prefer some variation in tone, rather than a monotonous tone like a fan or AC.
They have some terrific units, actually. My kids love the original Sound+Sleep unit. Check them all out at www.soundofsleep.com/
let's ask dave.............to let us hear all the sounds of the machine and not talk until that's done
I appreciate your input and suggestion.
