    I know someone that got a diagnosis of breast cancer. Changed her diet to basically a keto diet. The tumors stopped growing, and then started to shrink.

      There are many anecdotes like yours .Its about time healthcare providers ,at least , give cancer patients some links to keto info about cancer .

      I was diagnosed with BC a few years ago. I refused allopathic options and started researching. Therapeutic ketosis will stop it growing, and even reduce it, but it's not a cure, it's just one piece in the healing puzzle. I changed every aspect of my life to reduce stress, detox and heal. I'm NED now and a huge fan of animal based keto.

      Could you please tell us if it was without any other treatment at all? What was the previous diet? How long did it take for the tumors to stop growing, and to start shrinking? Did it cure competely?

    There are three issues with cancer that escape majority of population including professionals. 1. We develop cancer cells our entire life. Cells mutate constantly and we have small tumors that go undetected for years. What keeps them under control is our immune system. Weak or failing immune system means greater chance of developing cancer into life threatening condition. 2. Cancers do not metastasize, they do not travel and infect other cells. If cancer shows up in different organ it means it is a continuation of the same inflammatory condition. Basically the breakdown occurs at different pace in different organs. In many cases doctors are successful in eradicating cancer cells either through chemotherapy or radiation and there’s no sign of cancer. Yet, to everyone surprise cancer returns but usually in different organ and in different shape. The only difference is timing. Hence, some patients may have 2-3 cancers in different organs at the time of diagnosis, others will see return of cancer within couple years. 3. Human biology is based on proteins and fat. It is counterproductive to reduce amount of protein at the time of stress. We go through processes of rebuilding of our cells constantly. We cannot build new cells from fat alone. In fact, excess fat we consume is broken down and removed almost immediately. Remember, cancer cells have access to proteins in our body 24/7. It is strange to think that reducing protein intake to minimal levels will have any significant impact. It would not!

    Keto is just a first step.
    Eliminating plant toxins such as oxalates (which BTW are found in breast cancer cells) is inevitably the second step...

      I'm a big advocate of keto, but I'd like to see more evidence. If fighting cancer was as easy as going keto I would expect everyone to be doing it. Would it be too much to ask for a clinical trial? What about a well-documented case series?

    • @JohnMcAfee-se9ms
      @JohnMcAfee-se9ms 6 місяців тому +1

      Why would you expect everyone to do it? I know people with epilepsy who refuse to do keto because they don't want to make a lifestyle change, and there is a hundred years of scientific evidence behind it.
      We have some recent studies on fasting as a chemotherapy adjunct, which put people into a ketone burning state, in human beings. As far as mice studies, read Cancer as a Metabolic Disease by professor Seyfreid.

    BTW, Dr. Zsofia Clemens treats cancer patients a meat-based, plant-free ketogenic diet.
    I do not think that "moderating" protein other than to sustain higher ketone levels is a good thing.
    There are even some substances found in meat such as taurine or carnosine which have been shown to normalize cancer cells....

    • @wocket42
      @wocket42 6 місяців тому

      Many will not get significant amounts of taurine through eating meat, though, as that's difficult. You need to cook specific parts of specific animals in certain ways to optimise it. Supplements may be an alternative.

    It is hard to adjust people’s diets. She means well but if cancer is already metastasized, you might do not want to deprive someone of their last meal.

      That attitude is why people die. C is not a death sentence, irrespective of how it has spread. It is a sign that you need to change your life, the amount of spread is just a sign of how much and how quickly you need to change. Knowing what I know now, with that diagnosis the first thing I'd do would be an extended fast!

    • @computertooter

      Yeah, I thought that too until I watched my older brother die of lung cancer or probably it would be more accurate to say he died of uncontrolled diabetes. He suffered so much becoming totally dependent on his kids. It was a horrible death. The main problem with that statement is it is probably not their last one and they will suffer 3 fold than if they ate simply a proper human diet.

      @@deb52811 For that you will need to check his cancer papers and ask directly to his free consultation clinics. But I believe he's doing basic FMD starting 2.5 days before chemo and 2.5 days after. Like the chemo exactly in the middle of the 5 days FMD.

    I recommended this video. Last I heard was stop trying to sell me something. “Not interested in it we are a medical family and are doing standard of care.
    Thats it stop talking about!”
    I haven’t stopped and they won’t answer the phone. Not to me anyway.
    Is it worth it? I could answer with Martin Luther, “Here I stand I can do nothing else.” That seems hollow somehow.
