When I got Library of Ruina I went through the game really quickly until I got completely stuck in the middle of Urban Nightmare. I completely stopped playing the game for a month and a half, and decided that I just wouldn’t ever go back to beat it. But then, in my UA-cam recommended, a video of the Olivier and Argalia fights showed up. Seeing the Black Silence keypage in action was so cool that I went back to playing and got from Urban Nightmare to the True Ending in a week. Furioso is the second most satisfying card in the whole game (the first is The Road Home, especially if you kill Jae-Heon with it)
Congratulations on your clear! I'm glad you came back to see the game through, as this is one of my favourites lol. I do agree that Furioso is one of the most satisfying cards to play with, I love beating Argalia up with it😈
Argalia's a fun fight, nothing much to say. Though, I also have never really gotten Assolo to be used against me, but it seems like it's there just to be snuffed by Crystal Atelier. Argalia's page is really fun to mess around with. The Resonance passive is a bit of a pain to plan around, but if it works, it makes you feel like a god damn genius. Tempestuous Danza being a mass attack also helps to control Vibration easier, so you can more comfortably activate resonance. His passive is similar to Roland's in that regard, which is funny. The way you built him is probably the best, but just slapping all the unique combat pages on him works just fine. His pages are all extremely powerful for their costs, especially Largo, Allegro, and Resonant Scythe, so doing that will work. This is discounting activating Resonance (and perfect resonance for resonant scythe), and if you factor that in, then Argalia becomes a menace of a page to use. Though, banking on landing Allegro for Vibration and having it not land is a bit of a gut punch. Especially if you were prepping Resonant Scythe... Anyways, for how I built him, I have damage sponge and Unstable Crying Children passives on him, since I run him on Malkuth. He eats ranged pages for breakfast, tanks attacks with Ashes, Spores, and Barrier of Thorns if ever, and since Resonance and his pages are strong enough already, I just need to attribute Volatile Passion, Plumed Escutcheon, and Flaring Brand on him, and I'm done. One last time, great thumbnail. I love the usage of the mask here this time, foreshadowing the next huge fight...
looking through the code, it looks like it would only get added if none of his current speed dice have a higher value than the players resonance. Noting that if the opposite is true, he'll get Preludio, and otherwise get Scythe Slash. Also interestingly, he has a card that rolls 7-13 slash 3-5 blunt that on clash lose gives him 3 strength next scene that he uses on the 4th scene of each phase(?) Anyway, that's neither here nor there and mostly goes to show how strange the shimmering passive can be... I had honestly slept on Argalia's page in my first 2 playthroughs but being forced to talk about every single page made me realize how busted he actually is. Resonance is probably the most annoying secondary resource to manage, but the payoff of +2 power generically and having access to some of the strongest pages in the game uniquely is pretty good I've heard.
@@AilithNixOh yeah, that page is named "Unhinged Melodia". You should clash into it with Mook or Wheels whenever possible. Yeah, Argalia's passive is difficult to work with, but even without it his pages are insanely strong, so it doesn't even matter regardless. Resonance just makes him even crazier, so I don't understand why people trash on his page.
This is those battles where i lost bc im very greedy (fervent beats) but other than that, i still don't understand Argalia's (key) pages stuff, but still... thank you for the Drip Uberto
I actually forgot to play the last page to be able to play furioso, but because I got lucky and got 2 infinite speed dice, I killed him without furioso.
HOLD ON... He is still doing it?!??! I thought this were all old guides, this is exciting ngl, I won't be able to catch up to him rn on videos or in my current game progress, but this feels... Different, it's cool to know he is doing it and I can watch him achieving victory.
Roland's second duel... Or third if ya count the general reception grade 1 fixer. WHELP, time to crush Argalia's ribcage. The Black Silence draws near...
oh splendid i got to the last member of the ensemble, surely theres not an even harder bossrush after, along with a Really hard long fight, then one realization, then a epilogue fight :clueless:
We are getting so close to the guide for the fight im stuck on, i want to actually finish this game Edit: i say this and then blast through the fight and the one after putting me even further away if i get stuck again. Noooooo
Pretty tricky to trigger myongest here with your non infinite speed dice, since even at speed 1 he can get a damagae buff even if you have only one vibration or smth
Problem. I don’t have lone fixer and I burned all my books because it said I could not burn books because I thought this thing was going to make me unable to do receptions.
This fight fucking SUCKS. No matter what passives I use or how I play Roland just rolls horrendously and dies to early before the final. Edit: The bastard finally fell. Thank you for the guide
~~i have returned from being devoured by Armored core 6, lol. Sadge that i missed on favorite ensemble fight (pluto)~~ I hate this fight so so much. Not only is it a boring 1v1 that might as well be scripted, but the reward page is a bit lackluster in my eyes. At least it has Speed 3 and Nuevo Fabric i guess... LoR generally does a pretty good job of making the pages from important boss characters feel powerful and fun, so Argalia being... whatever this page is supposed to be was really disappointing to me. Like, its a fine page I guess. Its just... why would I go torture myself with the vibration minigame when I have so many other very strong key pages that don't need me to care about some one off gimmick that only a single character interacts with. ...all that said, this still isn't even my least favorite fight in the game 🙃
Argalia's keypage is easily in the top 3 non-kali/roland/binah pages, and is probably the strongest beating out PT and Olivier. You have to manage resonance of course, but in exchange you don't need to care about light and pages because you have the best way to restore light that can clash decently, along with the best way to draw pages which clashes incredibly. He also has a 2 cost that rolls higher than a 4 cost. You are definitely selling his keypage short, it has a learning curve for sure, but it's hard to say no to that level of power.
For rolands reception you need to have strong rolls and sustain. Yesods floor is really good because you can have myongest + clean + chained wrath. Dark flame invalidates most of the fight as well.
I cant believe this is the final part of pointing at boss series. It has been 10 weeks
it was fun while it lasted lol
@@AilithNixI just wanna say thank you for the guides I wouldn’t be able to beat the game without them
Arguably the easiest and most satisfying fight in the gauntlet
I'm in agreement there

One more week for black silence battle…
well, two weeks because it's such a long fight.
up next: hamhampangpang enjoyer

So all thats left is keter realization, reverb ensemble distorted, and zena

both roland and argalia died in the same scene (curse u fervent beats) and somehow i still got victory😅
yep, as long as the enemy dies you'll be counted as a victory :)

just never get hit by an attack that gives you vibration :)

If you have the strongest and myos prowess you dont need lone fixer and could probably just use Fervor or similar.
@@AilithNixok so turns out I do have lone fixer but I can’t use red mist page for strongest.
If you don't have myongest then you can just use lone fixer and 2x power boosters to similar effect
How do you not have lone fixer after burning all your books 💀
@@casesater yeah I found it. Just did not remember which key page had it lol
well after beat argalia i can forfeit reception or i have to fight black silence First?
If you forfeit at any time you'll be sent back to Hana 2
so it mean lost all progress good thing i didn't click forfeit for now so next i have fight roland hopefully it will not that hard
