I don't know know now if I'm brave enough to drive the Going to the Sun highway ! But I'd love to travel there. Did you see any grizzly bears on the trail? Did yiu have bear spray or firearms ?
@@nolanventures473 Good to know, because we are going for a day trip tomorrow! We don't live far from GNP and we just moved here August 2022, so I wasn't sure if the snow melted up there in Spring. We went in August 2022 and hiked St. Mary Falls and Virginia Falls, The Trail of the Cedars to Avalanche Lake, Hidden Lake Trailhead at Logan Pass .. Not sure what trail we should hike tomorrow? We want to try a new hike, but we have kids and it can't be too hard and we are only staying a day.

Great video. Is late september a good time to visit the park? I hear wildfires can be a problem.
It is a very good time. Fire season can always be an issue from summer to fall, but that is when most trails and roads are open.

The road is not that difficult to drive. Just take it slow. No grizz today but always likely so be prepared. Happy trails.
We will be there on May 23-May 28 . So glad you shared this . I was beginning to think May was a bad idea .
