Not if you use the epoxy that Brian teaches. Other stuff can be used but you'll be making trade-offs. It's possible to use latex paint to seal up a modern "skin" but you'll be giving up a ton of toughness-for color.
Thanks as always master! Has anyone tryed to paint with coffee? I suppose it would change the PH of the solution but don't know if that'll interfere with the nylon in some way.
