It's actually craft sand that you can get from Michaels or Hobby Lobby. The grain size is more uniform and it's clean. You'll want to get uncolored in case that might bleed into the veneer...unless that's something you'd like to try! ;0)

What kind of glue are you using? it was hard to tell what you said.

I feel very dense now ....... you put them face down 9:45 but then 10:00 they're face up?
Sleepydog he skipped the part where he peels off the tape revealing the face side of the inlay.
Ahh i get it :) I went back and surely i had missed how he made the small bits. I thought they were only dark on one side. Thanks for answer
