The low post, the fast break, the shooting. Ring or no ring he was a beast. Who can put 24-10-4 during 20 fucking years? Only Abdul Jabbar did it. Glad he brought Willis Reed. If you consider that Tim Duncan actually was/is more of a center than pure power forward, then Karl Malone is the greatest power forward of all time. Ring or no ring.

    • @KillaKevTv
      @KillaKevTv 8 років тому +18

      malone was a bette scorer , Duncan better All Around player (cough cough) 5 rings

    • @Milordvega
      @Milordvega 8 років тому +8

      Yes, but I meant, if we don't consider Duncan as a power forward but as a center, then Karl Malone is the greatest PF of all time. But between him and Duncan, Duncan is superior.

    • @KillaKevTv
      @KillaKevTv 8 років тому +14

      +Ed Vega why wouldn't we consider Tim as a PF im confused

    • @Milordvega
      @Milordvega 8 років тому +3

      His play is that of a center, and sometimes, he's on the court with another big forward and he seems to be playing the center slot.

    I idolised Malone since I was 15yo. Being an Australian we didn't get much NBA games at home so I mailed away to join the Jazz fanclub just before the Dream Team Olympics and I got back a plethora of Jazz merch that I didn't expect. By the time the Jazz got in the finals, NBA games were shown at midnight on tv here. Although they didn't win, I remained a Utah fan for life. The magic between Malone and Stockton made a lot of fans in Australia when most were on the Bulls bandwagon. Im so glad I was lucky to be born in this era, growing up with 90s NBA. I don't think there will ever be another era like that.
