    Great camera work! I fear I would drop and lose the bolts if doing this. Probably a 4 hour job if you take it to M-B stealership and 1100 for the part

    THIS exactly my problem. I will ask them in the morning to do a diagnostic or tell them what you said. What is the name of the new valve? Heater Control Valve. Thank you so much.

    Did you notice that your rain tray was cracked and damaged where it seals against the windshield? Any reason why you also didn’t replace that while it was off?

    I did that in my 04 E500 with 4zone control and hot air still comes through after about 10min. I also changed the chip on the front SAM module. I want to take the dash apart to see if I can see the vent doors move but that a lot of work. Any help will do thank you. great video BTW.

      Try recalibrating your blend doors by running the temp on the front controls all the way hot and then all the way cold. Do the same on the rear controls.

    My issue is on a 2005 w163 ML350. The Front AC blows cold but a week ago the rear AC started blowing warmer than the front. I noticed the air not blowing as cold in the rear or 2nd seat area. I didn't think it was the heater valve because the front air is cold. I was thinking maybe an actuator motor but not sure of the location or which one. I thought there were two. Any help would be appreciated.

      In the case of this vehicle the front was blowing cold still and the rear was warm. I had initially thought of a blend door actuator as well. However after replacing the valve all is well.

    My Nissan blows hot air even with the ac off when driving. What could be the cause.

      Usually a stuck heater control valve or blend door depending on the type of system you have.

    Hi do you drain all antifrezze? Or
    Just the anti freeze tank?

    • @YourCarGuyDR
      @YourCarGuyDR  2 роки тому +1

      Because I wanted to change my coolant I went ahead and drained all of the antifreeze. It isn’t necessary to drain all of it. Really just enough to get it below the heater valve.

      @@davejohnson3860 these are Oe Wheels MB02 in 17 by 7.5. I didn’t go with the 18 because I still wanted more sidewall for comfort. I love the way they look and the factory Mercedes centers fit in them. The only thing you will notice is that they say AME instead of AMG but because of the way the E is shaped you have to look closely to notice that it isn’t a G.
