One thing I didn't realise until way too late is that the middle being lowered is actually supposed to help the defending team... since it's easier to reach + takes time to raise to the top... so all that time I spent standing on the middle thing keeping it raised as defender was actually low key throwing LUL
not really throwing. if its raised you have the high ground, which makes it harder for you to get hit unless they have a long ranged weapon. you also have a better vantage point of whats going on. also attackers had to swim up to, and then scale the platform.
all in all, the platform rising when youre on it, makes it easier for whoever is on it to keep the position
thats the reason why the defenders also have raised walkways that only they can get to that threatens both attacking sides. higher ground is easier to defend than lower
@@Roze_aye Maybe, but it’s also much easier to get ambushed up there since you’re exposed from all sides. When it’s lowered, it also takes at least three seconds to get all the way to the top which is as much time as it takes to capture the ultra signal, and also makes it way more obvious when someone jumped onto the platform, so having the platform lowered REALLY buys the defenders way more time and also makes it much more clear when people are trying to get to the ultra signal
I really miss this map already
Honestly crazy that they designed this whole map and composed this song JUST to be used for three whole days. It's a waste, because it's all just too damn good.
