First word she sang, I was immediately like wtf!? That’s bae? (I never heard her singing before, only knew her voice from her streams)
This is literately the most angelic vocal singing I have ever heard in my life, and that says something considering that I’ve been a long time Lia fan (OG anime fans know who I’m talking about, its the singer who sang a lot of maeda jun’s work, like op/ed from clannad, angel beats, etc.).

What makes Bae's voice so good for this song is that she can sing the high notes effortlessly. Without the need to add power all her high notes become transcendent, something that might not be achievable by other singers.

Still cant believe its a KOKIA song. I listened to their songs a lot back then. Ai no Melody is still my favorite KOKIA song to this day.
I absolutely love how she chose to keep her voice delicate when usually one would expect power bridging into the chorus.
