- Hello! So I vlogged our week in Crete - it was first time abroad since covid, and my first time vlogging a holiday! It was soooo nice to get away
We hiked in Omalos, hired a boat to Balos and Gramvousa island, and spent lots of time lazying on beaches. Bliss
I really enjoyed making this video - something different to the usual UK hiking content, so I hope you like it too! Though it has given me consistent holiday blues throughout making it haha

I know where you have been to when you ate divine food. My eyes don't lie. It was I think To Stachi right by the harbors end in chania. Was there 8 years ago. I love Greek food. It's so extremely diverse if you would travel all across the nation with it's so many local cuisines that are all isolated from another due to 80% mountains (Greece is extremely mountainous), and 6000 islands around the mainland. So over thousands of years Greek cuisine, but also traditions, dances, etc etc. all have their own unique dishes and so on. And Cretan food is one of those cuisines. That man who makes the food is divine.
I know how to make that eggplant, because I learned it after being there. Im a lover of Greek cuisine so that's why I wanted to learn it.

Hey Jen! Do you remember any of the names of the beaches you went to? You mentioned 3 coves? Or at 10:45 you are at a really lovely beach? Thank you! x
Hey Kiki! The beach at 10.45 is Yannis beach - there's 3 coves of beaches at this area, this one had a beach bar and disabled access and parking was free beside the road. The other main beach we visited was 'Golden' beach on the west side of Chania and Koum Kapi beach on the east side, this one being a very small beach but it was right near out hotel. Hope that helps! :)

Thank you :) We've tried looking but we can't find it or remember (sorry!), but it wasn't too expensive, less than £100 and we had it for the whole day and could drive it ourselves

How'd you get the private boat for kissomos to balos? Any information i can find online for that?
We went to Kissomos sea sports, just turned up on the day and they had availability. Owner was super friendly and showed us how to use the boat. Hope that helps!
