Sounds like you're into the hardcore vibe, hard to quantify the difference between metal and hardcore to me but I feel like its like metal is to regular rock as hardcore is to punk rock (or something like that.)

Knocked Loose is the definition of “metalcore.” In the sense of what metalcore started as in the mid 90s. Blending extreme metal and hardcore/hardcore punk.
Most big popular metalcore bands You’ll find nowadays and back through the 2000 to 2010’s would sound different than this. But “traditional metalcore” such as this is making a resurgence.
