My lad is ten and hasn't a clue about the dirt that comes after the shine. He sees the older lads wearing the gear, sharp haircuts and a swagger. Already, he is copying the way they talk. Young offenders is just chaos. I got a stretch at 16 and the one I was in was split between short and long term. The short part wings had constant daily battles,boys getting robbed for everything and must’ve been hell for any young boy just trying to get in and out. The long term side,where I was,was much more settled but if it did kick off you knew it meant stabbings or serious damage. Gladiator school indeed lol

I personally know fellows sister, he has never been on the vp wing, and isnt currently onit hes always on the cat a wing apart from when on trial at strangeways he was down the block for prison/his safety reasons for the trial. first face slashing wasn't over revenge for the 2 victims, he has been in and out of prison since 1990's he knows the score. He is financially ok in there and his two young girls always visit. Bad what he done but had to be done and he doesnt regret it one bit
