Man those pastas look awesome, pasta and risotto are my favorite foods by far. I’m curious do you and Phil do intermittent fasting? You guys are really fit, while pounding drinks, pastas and deserts I’m impressed.
Haha, thank you :) We're always changing and evolving our health and diet. We've done intermittent fasting in the past but our bodies seem to gravitate toward it when we're in Europe. I would say we balance our diet by eating very clean and healthy when we're home and indulging and tasting all flavors we can when we travel. It's one of the benefits of a semi-nomadic life. It gives us balance when it comes to diet and exercise when we have a home to come back to between trips.
Florentine steak is so dang good. We did another trip to Florence and tried it at multiple restaurants. Any chance one of these is where you had it? ua-cam.com/video/-H7UjnLO0D4/v-deo.htmlsi=-HFc5xP5hd6U0blj
Knock on wood, we haven't had to deal with it yet. In places like Tuscany, with all the wine and those narrow, winding streets with oncoming traffic, it's certainly a consideration. As for ourselves, we love to walk to restaurants whenever possible, use taxis when it's too far to walk, or hire a driver when we need to visit multiple places that are spread into very rural areas (like Tuscany). Private drivers with new Mercedes vans are often VERY affordable in Europe compared to in the U.S.

I had the best steak in Florence last year. And it was so much more affordable than Los Angeles price 😂

L'unica cosa che vi consiglio è quella di far mettere la panna montata sul Gelato. Altrimenti non è un gelato !!! 👍☺️🙏

How do you deal with drinking and driving?
