Thank you for the information. Ollie is being spayed next week, and I appreciate the follow up care information to be ready with syringe food as well as for what to look out post-op and how to handle it.
Thank you so much for sharing this video it's extremely helpful to know what to look for for us newer rabbit owners I've had a rabbit when I was 14 I'm 28 will be 29 in April my previous Rabbit passed away around Christmas time my senior year of highschool so either 2012 or 2013 I honestly can't remember I am just now emotionally in a state that I am ready for a pair of Rabbits and I'm getting them after I get everything ready I was originally getting three sisters that are going to be 7 months old on January 9 th but the Runt also the only Tri of the three recently passed away after the cold snap her immune system wasn't as good but the others are doing extremely well so watching your videos have helped so much I'm glad I found your channel and that Pepper is doing better also Wally looks like my previous Holland Lops Twin Same coloring simular markings he's so adorable is he a Holland Lop or a Mini Lop?
I'm glad your floof is feeling better :). I really like your channel and the way you deliver the information as a new bunny mom I've been running into some conflicting information about getting my bunny fixed (Dante is a boy). Could you please maybe make a video or just address the pros and cons and your opinion on the subject. I would really appreciate it. The vets in my area are not being very helpful (not many pet bunnies around here apparently). THANKS
Thank you! I actually have been planning to do a video about spaying and neutering, but it I have a lot lined up before I'm able to get to that. I can say right now that it is my advice to neuter. It avoids territorial behaviour and can also reduce destructive behaviours. However, in the instance of males, it's not really necessary for their health like it is with females - this was something I read about recently from a rabbit specialist veterinarian. So, IF he is a SOLO male and he is not displaying any difficult behaviour then there isn't really a need to fix him. If you have, or are intending to have more rabbits though, then that's a different story and you should absolutely get him fixed. I'm sure plenty of people will disagree with me, but there are big risks to putting a rabbit under anesthesia, especially if it's difficult to find a vet experienced in doing so.
@@TheBunniesBrigade Thank you so much for the reply! Once I make a final decision on the matter (after some more research) if I do decide to get him fixed, I had already planned on taking him to a specialist in a bigger town to reduce his risks. Thanks again for the information I really appreciate it. ☺️
My rabbit started to act even more hungrier. I give her 2 times more food but she searches for even more food for a long time after she finishes her extra amount of food. She gets unlimited hay and btw.
UPDATE: Pleased to tell everyone that the last of Pepper’s stitches dissolved and fell away today. Her scar looks very pretty and clean ☺️
So glad Pepper is feeling better.
She really is right as rain now! 😊
Yay Pepper recovery! So happy she’s healing up so nicely!
Yeah she really is! She just started playing with her favourite ball again - I haven’t seen her play with it in almost 2 months!

How much would you say you’d feed her like 1/4 of pellets of whatever
@@annettefinn6934 1/4 of pellets two times a day
And how old is she/he
@@annettefinn6934 10 months
@@annettefinn6934 should I give her more?
