Thanks for the demo, I need to do the similar project this week for my W210. Can you let me know the torque spec for the 4 bolts of Oil cooler?

Someone on the forums said 70nm for the housing bolt and 11nm for the cooler bolts.

Did you have to drain any oil or coolant to do this job?

OK so I’m hoping you can help me I have a 2000 Mercedes E320 4matic wagon. I had my oil change done by a shop seven months ago. But this time I wanted to do it myself and I have replaced the oil filter by myself before. But this time I did it and I cracked the. So I bought a new oil filter Assembly, while I was trying to get the rest of the plastic out of the thread, the actual aluminum housing Cracked and a piece actually cracked off. Now my question is it replaceable or is it welded to the engine? Right now are used JB Weld to put the crock piece back on along with the filter cap but now every time I turn the car on while spits out somewhere. If I plug it it spills out somewhere else. I just need to know if I can actually replace the aluminum housing without actually taking the whole engine apart. On every other model it looks simple like it’s a separate piece but I don’t know on mine. I need help!
