Even I can't compare them. Mondstadt's theme is played by London Philharmonic Orchestra, and Liyue's by Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. I mean it's insane that they have so much effort to travel to London too for this... I'm not surprised if the next region (which is based on Japan) will have OST played by the orchestra in Japan lol...
The statue in windrise will always be my favorite. When I first saw that big tree and the tower beneath it, it felt so magical and like home. It's the most beautiful statue location for me. I always go there to heal.
Everytime I get a quest out of mondstadt, I get happy for the rewards and stuff, new characters to see but sad at the same time that I don't get to see Amber, Barbara, Lisa, Jean, Kaeya, Diluc or Venti, feels like they're your family in the game, and the fact that this place is where my love for this game grew as I started. I wish the "mondstadt family" were NPCs who appears in different places around Teyvat and the community would just mark all their spawn locations to see their beloved character and interact with many many options, to make it realistic that they go on adventures or are just chilling exploring, example like Jean being mostly found in her office and Amber being near the Monstadt statue just chilling there, but occassionally won't be there too and would be outside Mondstadt doing random stuff in a few different locations. It might be kind of a hassle to find them, but hey they can find a way to make location spawns simple enough :) Liyue is pretty great, but Mondstadt is just home.

List of what people forgotten about in the game. (Edit): After playing for 4 months, I reconsider somestuff. (Edit)1. Your current characters are good enough going through stories, unless you want to 3* all abyss or self satisfaction, no need to gamble for more characters. 2. You don't need to gacha to finish everything in the game. 3. UA-cam videos are just exaggeration. There is no such thing as "You need to have this character or die." (Edit)4. Tier list are "mostly" bs, and the only things that measures tiers are the abyss floors. Ask your self, do you really need 999999999 dmg to finish off a hilichurl or ruin guards in the open world? (Remember, M.O.S.T.L.Y and only abyss floor are relevant for tier list.) 5. The game is not finish, of course there are short content, you can choose not to play and wait for the new update. 6. And most off all, the game is "FREE" that it makes you feel guilty not paying for this much graphic and music. Just enjoy the game without concerning the typical gacha stuff, it's impossible that this game was not made with love and effort.
You're right, in fact, I did my own tier list in my channel and the first thing I said was that ALL characters are good in their own way and you can complete the entire game with any character. The only thing in the entire game that requires of specific charcaters is the abyss, but even being some characters best of worse than others, all are useful, usable and good.

I’m not too concerned with leveling up or “beating” the game. But, if I need to, I’ll grind through certain tasks if I have to reach a certain level to progress the story.
Listening to the music without the gameplay is really nostalgic. The feeling of when i first stepped foot onto the world of Teyvat, exploring Mondstadt and Liyue but now i can't ever go back since i know too much about the game and it wouldn't be the same ever again.... I wish i could go back a few months ago to experience this game all over again with a fresh mind with no knowledge or recollection that i've ever played this game before. One of my favourite games of all time.
same here. i lowkey spend all my time exploring for primos, trying to figure out those stupid puzzles just for like 30 primos, farming for artifacts, grinding for materials and trying my best to maximize my damage. i miss doing like 9 damage with amber and exploring dragonspine with kaeya. i miss desperately waiting for the day i got my first 5*, and i knew i wouldnt care even if i lost the 50/50. i feel like now that im AR 55, the game is intense as hell, and i honestly would trade my 7 five stars just to have my knowledge wiped and start all over again

I started playing this game back in 2020, I really wanted to get Venti but couldn't save enough. His banner is coming this month and i have saved enough wishes to get him. Once i get Him I will quit Genshin Impact forever. I had a dream of collecting every archon character but im gonna destroy it. I will miss Liyue , Monstadt and the Game Music. I have other things i need to be doing. Maybe after many years, i might return to play Genshin Impact and feel the impact again.

i quit genshin a little bit after inazuma came out. it just took too much storage. i have heard of it since, but i haven’t actually heard the music in forever. it was so nostalgic i almost cried. it brought back all of my memories from 5th-6th grade playing genshin with my friends without a care in the world. we’re in 8th grade now, and none of us talk any more. our friend group fell apart as we grew up and we all went our own ways. i miss that era.

This is so nostalgic and its not been even a year. Liyue and inazuma are great, but Mondstadt feel so different. It's like home, where you always will be happy and supported by all the people in there.

@@ducreat Yeah, I love open world games because it allows me to just relax, enjoy the graphics and scenery, and be more immersed into the game’s world and lore. I’m not too concerned with leveling up or “beating” the game. But, if I need to, I’ll grind through certain tasks if I have to reach a certain level to progress the story.

Listening to the music without the gameplay is really nostalgic. The feeling of when i first stepped foot onto the world of Teyvat, exploring Mondstadt and Liyue but now i can't ever go back since i know too much about the game and it wouldn't be the same ever again.... I wish i could go back a few months ago to experience this game all over again with a fresh mind with no knowledge or recollection that i've ever played this game before. One of my favourite games of all time.

same here. i lowkey spend all my time exploring for primos, trying to figure out those stupid puzzles just for like 30 primos, farming for artifacts, grinding for materials and trying my best to maximize my damage. i miss doing like 9 damage with amber and exploring dragonspine with kaeya. i miss desperately waiting for the day i got my first 5*, and i knew i wouldnt care even if i lost the 50/50. i feel like now that im AR 55, the game is intense as hell, and i honestly would trade my 7 five stars just to have my knowledge wiped and start all over again

(Edit: im on adventure rank 27 now and im on the liyue story, i do visit monsdalt quite often because I need assention materials, get adventure rank awards, to walk near the cats tail boss and shoot her in the face with my diona, etc. also the wangshu quest and the adventure rank assention quest were absolute hell. Definitely not messing with a ruin hunter/ guard any time soon)
(Edit again: mihoyo took away my account and i had to start over but on my new account i am currently saving for rosaria, i am also on AR 35 and im struggling with the oceanoid so i can ascend xingqiu and Barbara)

Mondstadt was designed to be a tutorial and story prologue, but already feels so fleshed out that I want to learn and experience more.
Remember the time when we were just roaming and some random puzzle comes up and you get excited to do it. The sound of the rain. You just explore no meta no farming no build just listen to the soundtrack and just keep moving in the green grass no complexity no hardwork like just so damn peacefully enjoying the nature with the starters.DAMN THE NOSTALGIA 🥺🥺🥺✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻
I still do this as much as possible. Exploration comes first, farming comes when I need a break. My wallet isn’t big enough to worry about meta.

It was at that moment I fell for this game. I'm so glad my brother introduced me to this game (I saw it before but it looked so good I thought it was paid). I hope I'll still be around when it ends!

I really wanted to get Venti but couldn't save enough.
His banner is coming this month and i have saved enough wishes to get him.
Once i get Him I will quit Genshin Impact forever.
I had a dream of collecting every archon character but im gonna destroy it.
I will miss Liyue , Monstadt and the Game Music.
I have other things i need to be doing.
Maybe after many years, i might return to play Genshin Impact and feel the impact again.

No matter what nations Mihoyo will release, Mondstadt has a special place in our hearts. I always claim my daily commission rewards from the Katheryne in Mondstadt. When I'm done for the day, I always go to Mondstadt, to that waypoint in the tower of the Knights of Favonious headquarters, and log out. It's like a ritual at this point. I feel safe when I log out knowing that my character is in Mond. Weird, I know...

i quit genshin a little bit after inazuma came out. it just took too much storage. i have heard of it since, but i haven’t actually heard the music in forever. it was so nostalgic i almost cried. it brought back all of my memories from 5th-6th grade playing genshin with my friends without a care in the world. we’re in 8th grade now, and none of us talk any more. our friend group fell apart as we grew up and we all went our own ways. i miss that era.

@@ennv77 Glad I could relate, I can't describe exactly on how or why I found genshin so fun when I first started, I quit a year ago when Sumeru was released and I've always wanted to see Fontaine, now here we are with how much I've missed out on in the game, but I just don't ever feel like coming back or playing the game ever again. Mondstadt and Liyue's soundtracks gave me a strong heartwarming feeling and I couldn't pinpoint on why exactly lol
Imo you are missing out.... because some of the recent content they added is the best they ever had. Fontaine is great, feels like a 2nd home for me after Mondatadt.

No matter how many regions they add up, to end my day playing Genshin, I still collect my expedition and claim daily commissions (20 primos) in Monstadt and then log out from there. Because it feels nice to end your day knowing you are home ♥️
I know the feeling bro. The commisions in Monstadt are the only ones I am comforyable to take(except when its in dragonspine). Nobody can replace the original Katheryn
