That is my IDENTICAL "wrist-rocket" slingshot! I live, and bought it, here in Thailand, where almost everything you can buy was made in China, but it's interesting to learn they're also sold at home there in the states. I'd "lost it" (it was in my toolroom but completely hidden) a couple years ago, and just found it last week. I've had it for years, but never shot well. The tubes had long since dried out, of course, so I pitched them. But recently I'd found Fowler's and some other channels on slingshots, watched some of the shooting instruction vids, learned more about flat-bands, and decided to put some on the WR. Now I've done it already, using flat bands from some other REALLY cheap, ( 25 baht, so about 80 cents) wood-frame slingshots that I'd bought. The bands are THICK (1.6-1.8mm maybe?), but narrow, and kinda slow. I used 'standard' rubber bands to wrap with. I fine-sanded the ends of the wire-frame to round off those sharp edges, so they're a bit smoother, figured it couldn't hurt and might help avoid nicks/cuts on the band, and so prolong the band-life. Now that I know it can be done I'm going to order some quality flats and redo the thing. EXCELLENT vid, closeups on all the important details, and the tunes were great! lol Thanks for sharing! 👍 🍻

The flats have got a little bit more power , but longevity is awfull , just learn to shoot better and stick to 9mm surgical latex , shoots great and lasts forever
The flats I find easier to hold on draw this for me tad more accurate but have started with basic office style bands linked to tube now flat bands. Tubular bands really good way to build up those muscles needed to hold steady
Black widows frame is narrower and steel road is about 2mm thicker. The handle on black widow more ergonomic. I got 3 generations of black widows hung on my slingshot wall. These are the generic slingshots that I'd say daisy put their branding on it. I use these cheap ones for my slingshot rifle builds.

I have found wrapping them on the inside and shooting through the forks makes it so much more accurate👌😉👍❤🇬🇧
