maybe most of people doesnt want to watch slingshot stuff anymore but certainly there's ppl like me who misses slingshot videos! Please make more of these once in a while :D
I think what I liked about the old slingshot videos was that the slingshots would often be insane (impractical maybe), but what a sight to behold! I'd love to see some of the ambitious designs revisited. To be fair, I love the simple stuff like this, but I remember Sprave for the Gatling Slingshot.
Nothing wrong with going back to the roots of this channel once in a while although, to be honest, you've spoiled us with sooo many awesome and creative slingshot contraptions, that a simple slingshot isn't going to cut it anymore ... damn you UA-cam algorithm!
I'm 70 now, but when i was a kid, we always carried a slingshot with us. When I got a bit older, I started using slings (not a slingshot). I got very good at using them. After a while, I got good enough to sling stones heavy enough to crush a skull (very handy when you live in the middle of nowhere).
We all love you!!!! Let me show you it's Features!! I really appreciate all of your content and hilarious things that you have come up with!! Chris From Florida
I have really taken a liking to slingshots lately. That's why I subscribed to the channel back a couple years ago and then you did bow which I loved. Glad to see you are back to your roots. I love all your content. 🏹
Ein bischen öfters zurück zu den "Wurzeln" des channels wäre schon cool. Muss ja nicht mega oft sein aber so 1-3 echte Slingshot Videos im quartal wäre schon echt klasse.
Bwhahaha. That is funny. Yesterday I was in the pub and your channel came up. We were talking about how fun it was with the bowlingball cannon. And one of my favorites, The "Sit down, feet supported" slingshot. Maybe not so much a new treefork slingshot. But the weird ones were great. The disc with the spiral track for example.
Thank you for options. Sometimes people who are otherwise decent people, have legal issues from the past that prevent them from owning modern firearms. Thank you for showing how we can legally defend ourselves. Some of us still hunt and fish for the table to feed our family, and raise our garden too
Nice, a slingshot! Just today I've been watching some of your first videos from 12 years ago, with the innovative designs like roller guided internal rubber, the push button release and such. I'd love to see what you can come up with!
Just today at noon I complained under a short of yours that currently no more videos at all appear in your old style. And then a few hours later comes something like this. Very refreshing! I would also have nothing against more videos about things that you could make yourself in your own craft workshop. I still remember your homemade 1000 Joule airgun. Or when you shot cannonballs. Glad to see more of that again!
Silicone spray is the best stuff to keep the rubber from regrading. Just keep the slingshot in a ziplock when not in use so the bands are protected from damage and to help hold the silicone spray fresh.
Love the video! I recently made my Grandson a slingshot from a branch from that had come down about one year ago. It had been sitting around seasoning. I even made him a leather pouch to carry stones in. He loves it!
Hang an old blanket behind the target for goodness sake!! Can't stand to see those lovely bearings shot and lost forever. Love slingshots and this one is absolutely beautiful and compact. Thank you Joerg, you are such a master.
Jorg! Never stop with the slingshots they are awesome!! Question, could you putt big screws trough the arms to make them stronger? Or would you think it weakens it, also could you dril out the handle and putt steel tube for storing ammo/extra bands in it or would it weaken it to much? Greets from neighbour to the west from netherlands!
Your accuracy is still impressive, given the strength of the bands you use. A brief search shows that slingshots in competition are generally much weaker. Accuracy over power - while you've got both!
Oh, I'm so happy to see a slingshot again! I love all the contraptions, but the thing that made me most interested was always stuff that people can make on their own, at home. With that said, I wish you had chronied that steel ball and given us a power estimate!
I laugh so much watching you here in sunny California hahahaaaa. Your laugh makes me laugh! Love your videos since I first saw you build an air compressed pipe arrow gun! AMAZING! I love this channel and all the human powered projectiles you show us! Thank you brotherrrr!
Such a great channel you have :-) This slingshot was super cool! When we were kids (around 10 years old) my grandad worked in a fishing tackle shop and when he visited us he would often bring really strong square shaped lengths of elastic with him. We would then go off into the woods and find a suitable branch that could be made into the traditional 'Y' shape of the slingshot (we called them catapult). Once we cut it, shaped it and often varnished it we would then attach the elastic and a leather pouch for the ammo. We often used small marbles! One of the best things we liked to do was hide on top of the hill and wait for the farmer to come. Once he was inside his shed we would fire at will onto the tin roof and boy did he get angry! I also remember how incredibly powerful they were. Such great fun...almost tempted to go out into the woods and re-create one this week....40 years later!
I do enjoythe slimgshot stuff! I miss seeing youtry new shapes and bands and stuff. But what i miss most is your inventions. Those have always been the best!!!!
YAY!! 2016 vibes and memories! Time to reband my bronze Moorhammer and homemade Rambone. Thanks for a nice oldschool SS video Joerg! You are still the king.
Maybe you could offer those journalists a slingshot making workshop. That way they can experience the fun side of all this and maybe realize that you are not some evil gunslinger that wants to bring on Armageddon.
What could be better? Simple device, amazing power, low cost, and compact size for a pocket sized weapon that will bring down small game. Great video, great job. More like this, please!
This is a nice change and I appreciate you going back to your roots. Now get to work developing a Fenris for slingshots since it shouldn't be mechanically too different aside from the loading mechanism.
This is a fun video that takes me back to when my son was born and I found Jörge. I think I watched three videos, then went and turned a 2x4 into a single shot slingshot rifle. It would take out everything you can reasonably take with a slingshot. 🤣 I need another since it was lost in time over the past 8-9 years, haha.
I love all the cool high tech gadgets but there's something especially satisfying about the simplicity of the humble forked branch and a good set of flat bands and a little leather pouch. Especially with multiplex prices currently exceeding gold as an investment commodity. 🤣
I DID like this. Please more. Teach us about the world of construction methods and techniques. Teach us about different band materials and how they affect the experience. Teach us how to make an instant Legolas (instant Dennis the Menace?) system for a slingshot. I'll watch it all.
Thank you for the sling shot video Joerg 👍 It was good to see the past passion return to your eyes and voice, and of course to hear your "trademark" phrase 🍻
I really enjoyed that! Very neat little slingshot. You make everything entertaining & fun anyway but the simplicity of that was awesome. Very powerful! I need to visit the woods now! 😂👍
I still love the slingshot videos! Only one thing that I'd love if you added to both the slingshot and bows/crossbows videos is that I've been missing the balistic gelatin coconut haha
[What a] *BEAUTY* ~ Always Works With Nature. I have seen your other Slingshot videos and loved them. I made one from Y Branch, tho - still lacks the Bands. Must remember to get them and see how it works. *Thanks!*
It's amazing how there is so much legislation regarding knives, handguns, airguns, rifles and shotguns when you could make a deadly weapon from something you find in a park and a piece of elastic band.
Beautiful Slingshot! I followed a schematic you posted on a video as a kid. I still have that Slingshot and I love the memory of actually getting TheraBand and shooting it for the first time!
I miss the old slingshot content very much. have copied with some success some designs you have made and enjoy them often. I do admire you skill at producing so many cool items,
Was? Ne Slingshot auf dem Slingshotchannel? Hau ab, Mann Jokes aside, it is always so joyful to see his bright smile when he talks about slingshots and the crafting of them. Thanks for cheering up my day Joerg
maybe most of people doesnt want to watch slingshot stuff anymore but certainly there's ppl like me who misses slingshot videos! Please make more of these once in a while :D
Not just the slingshot, but the plywood monsters he made.
Gabby
I second this comment
👍👍👍😜🏴🦕🦄😁✌️🤞
I miss the purely homemade stuff he made. Like the airzooka, 1000J airgun and the full auto pencil shooter.
Yeees, i agree!
It makes me want to go out to the woodpile and start whittling
it's nice to see the return to the craftsmanship and the real passion of the early videos. slingshots bring out a different part of Jörg.
To be fair, not many could use his slingshot-contraptions without danger of their arm exploding. Jörg has the build for that.
Yes I loved his outlandish designs too
Yes, please do
Man I've missed this man's infectious smile, never failed to brighten my day
Nice job Jorge! That’s bringing the power! I enjoy the crossbow and air powered weapons but it’s always fun to see you shooting a slingshot!
More slingshot content would be nice! I love the old videos where everything was self made and rubber powered
I loved hearing that summary of the making process. Would love to see that more in detail.
Immer her mit den Zwillevideos ! 😊

What?

It's very interesting, thank you

I love your slingshot articles. Please keep them coming. You are the Master...
Once again I am very impressed. Such accuracy and penetration from such a simple weapon.
So Awesome!!! Sir you are a Wizard at crafting fantastic devices!!! God Bless You!!!
Great callback to your early roots!!!! Love it!!!!!😁😁😁👍👍👍
Joerg, I think that many people would like to see good old-fashioned slingshot creation and shooting. I know I would!
Back to the basics! I absolutely love slingshot tech :) cool stuff.
I'm 70 now, but when i was a kid, we always carried a slingshot with us. When I got a bit older, I started using slings (not a slingshot). I got very good at using them. All natural. Birch is one of the most carve-able woods that is still fairly hard. Been used for a century in spool making
Also a choice wood for viking shields
And for instruments like guitars and percussion, it resonates beautifully and very strong
It's EXACTLY what I would like to see. It's so much more accessible than dangerous weapons and fancy crossbows.
Your videos really make my day. The amount of positive energy you give out is so wholesome. It seems like you're having so much fun
We all love you!!!! Let me show you it's Features!!
I really appreciate all of your content and hilarious things that you have come up with!!

Glad to see it Joerg. The Slingshot and especially that slingshot is the snubnosed pistol of the DIY world.

Gotta say, all videos where you create something i like. Especially the ones where you also show some of the process of creating it :)
that's a big part of this channel
It's always nice to see a slingshot every once in a while.
Silicone spray is the best stuff to keep the rubber from regrading. Just keep the slingshot in a ziplock when not in use so the bands are protected from damage and to help hold the silicone spray fresh.
It's nice to see you get back to your roots every now and then.
Wonderful ! Was quite good as a young lad with one of those . It went everywhere I went !
JS, you are definitely on a watch list.
Aren't we all?
An art of roots handwork man! Really really great work!
Sling shots are the cheapest and most effective tools to hunt with, I absolutely love it
It's absolutely amazing that you can hit that can from such a distance. You're like a modern day Robin Hood.
Love the video! I recently made my Grandson a slingshot from a branch from that had come down about one year ago. It had been sitting around seasoning. I even made him a leather pouch to carry stones in. He loves it!
Now, that was fun. Easy to carry and use.
A detailed making of would be totally great!
Great video, *thanks Joerg!* Love slingshots, just started teaching my children how to use them.
I do love a good slingshot. You can't beat the classics.

Jorge has the relentless curiosity of a great inventor. I can't get enough of this channel.
Your accuracy is still impressive, given the strength of the bands you use. A brief search shows that slingshots in competition are generally much weaker. Accuracy over power - while you've got both!
With enough practice you can be accurate with anything!
Oh, I'm so happy to see a slingshot again! I love all the contraptions, but the thing that made me most interested was always stuff that people can make on their own, at home.
