    Honestly, these are the best flames I've seen anyone do since Mike Lavallee. please make a whole video of true fire on canvas, from start to finish without cutting the video 🙏🙏🙏🙏

  • @sped17373

    The opaque white you're using here--isn't that E'tac EFX500 white? That's the only EFX500 color I did NOT get for whatever reason! I suppose it doesn't really matter now since the EFX line isn't being made anymore--plus their Private Stock opaque plasma white has been my go-to white for anything and everything from paper to metal for the last 15 years. What make of airbrush are you using on this? By the way, this is an excellent how-to video for airbrushing real fire--I've watched it a few times already, going back to part 2 w/ the green and purple fire. Right now I'm doing blue violet fire on a black paper envelope.

    • @Xtremepaintstudio
      @Xtremepaintstudio  2 місяці тому +1

      Hi, I'm still using EFX500 white as I have stock here, but I'll check if they are still making it. I don't use private stock as it flashes off and I need a paint to manipulate. My gun is only £45 with a 0.3 setup but it doesn't matter what gun you have in your hand once you have the skill set (Trigger Control) you can paint anything. I have guns from £200 to £500 and they still do the same as this £45 gun :)

    • @sped17373
      @sped17373 2 місяці тому

      @@Xtremepaintstudio As far as I know none of the EFX500 colors are being made anymore as the original makers of E'tac sold the business and retired to Paraguay (or Uruguay)--I chatted with them on Facebook a few months ago. I'd love to get a bottle of EFX500 white--even a little 2 oz. bottle would last me forever!
      I agree w/ you on trigger control--it is fundamental, but I'll stick with my Harder & Steenbeck Evolution and Olympos Microns airbrushes. I've tried a number of cheaper types (Creos, Fengda, etc.) and they just weren't worth all the tweeking and fiddling just to get them to spray like my H & S Evolution right out of the box. To each his own though, use whatever suits you best. The Evo (actually all H & S guns can use it) has a special fitting called a "sketching cap" that allows me to be able to paint fine hair lines with ease--right now I'm blind in my left eye (detached retina) and had wrecked several Olympos needles trying to do detail. That sketching cap is a life saver for me! So now I have a 2024 H & S Infinity arriving soon! I gotta keep pushing myself to paint and not allow my blind eye to ruin everything.
