- Compilation of some of the best Tactical and Medic Response Exercises Gravity has conducted with many partners over the last 5 years.
Summary of utility;
Medical;
Akin to a Paramedic on a motorbike, or bicycle. Rapid access in difficult terrain or weather, to provide critical care for circumstances such as blood loss, breathing impairment and pain management to buy valuable time for evacuation.
Military;
Many scenarios both terrestrial and maritime where small groups of Specialist or Elite personnel need to move rapidly across tough terrain in any weather night or day. Fundamental infantry doctrine is founded on fire and manoeuvring (NOT firing while manoeuvring with no cover). The Jet Suit provides that manoeuvre leg with more speed, surprise (you cant hear or pin point when fast inbound to a position) and aggression over a few kms than virtually any other platform. Raiding, sabotage, counter ambush, OP extraction, Maritime Boarding, Counter Terror urban containment etc
Gravity is currently progressing trials with over half a dozen allied military forces.

Your jet packs absolutely amazing. I can see them being super useful for search and rescue. Anything tactical though, I wouldn’t want it yet. You’re a sitting duck in the air with no way to return fire until you land.
Not to mention the noise! 😆
head-mount eye-track laser beams
@@fmorgan351 THIS
As someone who plays Call of Duty and never attended military academies nor have any tactical knowledge, I disagree
No he’s right. There is nothing these do that a drone cant do better, faster, and without risking what is essentially a Top Gun pilot and Navy Seal. I’m saying these will be very expensively trained sitting ducks.
Alighting boats is an extremely good use for these jet packs great stuff, Richard thank you for sharing!
It also shows how good the control is when piloting one. Being able to jump from a moving boat _to_ a moving boat really makes these far more versatile, especially when you consider that just about any aircraft can outrun a boat at top speed.
Think you’re cool bc you know names huh
*Ships, but yes.
This is definitely a game changer for first responders and medical aid. Super impressive work, very nice.
Simply AMAZING! This is Iron Man Technology at best.
Or Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 jetpack guys!
Technology for ( control + People)
Iron Man been doing it since 1963
@@asterlofts1565 rockets in the sky.
So when can I buy this?
I looks freaking silly at first, but when you realize that this technology can literally put a trained "whatever" wherever it's needed, whenever it's needed, you suddenly stop thinking like that. The paramedic is an amazing example of such truths, and would be nothing short of a guardian angel to someone in need - strobing lights and all. Given time, and how technology advances so fast, it shouldn't be too long before it at least looks less silly.
As an obvious first generation suit..excellent. Interesting to see what evolves into the future.
Excited to see how this moves from R&D to real world applications.
It already has. British search and rescue teams are already using them successfully in remote or hard-to-reach locations.
i mean there are so many obvious applications, fast medical aid, rescue and overall military, this gives you so much mobility i doubt it wont be used in military
Yes. Jet pack first response. This is an awesome application.
So you basically took the "Fly" cheat code and made it real. Well done .
It looks absolutely amazing.
Well done mr Stark.the real ironman on the making
Been following you forever Richard...... fantastic progress, love it. Thanks from Roma ✌️🇬🇧
Definitely worth getting trained
Awesome...Im glad ii has multi uses especially for rescues in rough terrain and military
Truly fascinating. I actually had a dreams I was flying similar suits after watching some of your videos, it felt amazing!
Love it guys! Keep up the great work!
@0:44 that Mobile Top Cover role is straight-up gaming FPS gold. Can't imagine it'll be too long before your machine is featured in games, and it would be interesting/hilarious to see how the having community makes use of it!
The arm boosters will need adjustments, allowing to be an extention off the elbow, so the arm & hand limbs utilize more freely. Especially for military soldiers.
One step closer to Ironman suites. Cool and terrifying depending on the use case
Wow magnific 😎❤️
Just ordered mine!
This is the best way ever to move guick over the Grounds to come from any distance from any point to take out the enemy
Thats the cooliest stuff ive ever seen totally amazing
How high can you fly ? Can you jump out of a plane and land?(would you need a wing suit?) How fast can you go?
All great questions, he definitely wouldn’t be able to jump out of a plane and land though
I'm pretty sure he could go up to extreme speeds and heights, but for safety reasons he never goes near those extremes and stays in low conditions
So the answer is unknown
Fantastic 👍☀️💯
Imagine walking up in the morning, seeing your neighbors flying outdoor.
*I need this to visit My parents constantly from City to up the mountains* 😢😢
So I've got a question: How loud is an apparatus when being used?
Not as loud as the diesel engines on the boats they are landing on.. not stealth of course, its a flame combustion so 🤷♂️
cant hear till last few seconds
@@GravityIndustries That's better than I expected honestly.
loud enough to let your enemies know youre coming.
I am thrilled that God gave so many such brilliant minds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
это очень круто! продолжайте в том же духе😁✊
Ready to re start my flight training!!
interested to see when guns are added to the arm where the word gravity is written? because there is a delay on landing and pulling out weapon.
Hi, I’ve been watching you and your teams progress on this since I was a child, i’m 22 now as of last month. I wanted to tell you that I love the work you guys do. I know you all are focusing on more *important* uses at the moment but how long do you think it will before the gen public can get ahold of your tech? I’m honesty unsure if the general public being able to purchase automatically = recreational use, and i’m not even gonna pretend that I do lol, but I guess that’s what more along the lines of what i’m asking
You can book and fly one on their website. For like 3k dollars
¿Y porque no te creas uno tuyo propio?
Si tan importante es para ti para que esperar?
Its a great idea, but the pack def needs to be way more compact, and may fit the recon or flanking roles better. If the enemy is any good, theyd be sure to make the "Jet Soldiers" a prime target, and is basically easy prey for snipers.
To add, those packs prolly make alot of noise, so even though it likely wont be utilised for stealth operations, even in an active warzone, it may give away their squads position, or give the enemy an idea where the troops would mobilise and advance.
😮 very cool!
Stay blessed for good cause.
I want to be a HART paramedic but a jetpack paramedic might be a cool alternative
doing my paramedice aprentaship now with the EMAS and had the same thought process, i'm right next to to peak district as well so who knows 😅
@@johnpixie good luck man, I'm a second year with SECAmb
The military always has the coolest toys.
Awesome 💚 wish i could fly like u 🤙 but flying with my drones is also ok, lg and ceya 🍀🍀🍀
Sometimes, the enemies are defending a fortress behind a very tall vertical wall (6 or 7 meters high).
Could this technology fly up that high VERTICALLY ?
Future now. Amazing.
Muito show
É o futuro chegando rápido.
I very like...
Brilliant
I got the point, this drill clearly shows that we civilian will not get this jetpack to use very soon 😌😌
HERMOSO
You guys have good CGI 👏
What humans are able to build.
Wow.
I have high hopes in the rescue purpose.
Wowzers👏🏻
This can greatly help Ukraine and save many lives.
Cool!
I never saw it in the practice until now, only in few movies before. But respect to this invention 👍🤭
Thoughts on Kim Jong Un?
Love it. What's the highest from the ground they can fly?
high enough
They sound great! Can they play different music for different operations?
😆
The future is rad.
And terrifying
The future 🔥
😂....I can't help but laugh every time I see these jetpack videos.
Genialne.Po prostu Gwiezdne wojny w realu...m
Tip top
Now they got flying soldiers!😯
ngl the thumbnail made me think he timed a wave perfectly to jump but a jetpack is sooooo much cooolerrrrr
Remember that ARMA 3 clip of a grunt getting on top of a drone?
This is it.
Looking good! Disadvantage: the jet noise. Question: can 2 - 3 Grav troops airlift a wounded man between them?
For distances under 1 km it’d be far better to have a battery powered quadcopter style of drone carrying one, maybe 2 soldiers while a remote operator guides it to the target. The 2 spec ops troops could have their hands free for small arms or RPG style weapon use. The quadcopter could be made to be MUCH quieter than the jets, so less chances of detection during the insertion activity. Also doubles the manpower on scene quickly to overwhelm enemy positions.
I wonder if the Jet suit could be adapted to the Sith Speeder (of Darth Maul). The Sith Speeder has a crescent shape and the jet suit's turbines would fit perfectly behind the back of the chair and both sides next to the legs. The points of gravity would be the same.
strong arms!
Bad arse!
Bad ass!*
in the year 2000, we were like "where are the jetpacks??" well, they're here.
Very cool, if they don't have fire support for such an operation with this vector they will be an easy target in flight.
I think if the enemy hits you then you're trapped or the engine might even explode
Hey dude there's an enemy soldier flying with a jet pack
*Shoots jetpack and watches enemy soldier fall too sea*
The jetpack needs a weapon system of some sort. I dont know what it could be, or where to put it. But it definitely needs a way to suppress the enemy on approach.
Maybe a weaponized quad drone with an Apache helmet targeting system. One that flys beside the jetpack. Maybe even a small concussion grenade pod.
ua-cam.com/video/WNDBrSxg3tE/v-deo.html skip to the end
You guys need to talk to Boston Dynamics. Flying armed robots would be awesome.
One step closer to actual iron man armor
Oh wow this will be on the battlefield in 10 years
Finally we founding Original Ironman ❤️❤️
Good
1:17 did anyone else notice the static bolts shooting from the engine?
This is great for Scouting, and Search and Rescue
For Frontline fight.. i dont wanna get hit by Stinger
Waiting patiently for the flying leaf blower video
Will these be available for civilians to purchase?
you can also use them to blow grass and leafs off your driveway and side walk.
Top
About fucking time.
when the enemy hears your approach 10 km away
Wonder if you fly to Mount Everest base camp and beyond?
Classic case of a solution looking for a problem.
Just so everyone knows….this jetpack concept has been around for decades. There is a reason its not mainstream and won’t be for a long long long time. Its expensive, fragile, unreliable, complex and dangerous and most importantly its got no room for error. If one little thing goes wrong mid flight, the flyer is dead or seriously injured.
Special Ops uses water and parschute insertion because while also dangerous it has room for error. If your scuba equipment fails you have a back-up. If your parschute fails you have a back up.
If one of those hand jets goes wonky, the flyer is thrown into a non-recoverable spin 30 feet from the ground with no height to recover.
This stuff is exciting novelty and nothing more. It might have a few minor practical applications but not enough to make it cost effective. Drones are much better suited for search/locate missions.
How much is that device. it's so cool
Because they fly low enough would they want complete stealth without the red/green port and starboard lights at night ?
I could see the usability of soldiers climbing buildings in urban combat without entering buildings.
Biggest threat we encountered entering buildings in urban environments; is the boobytraped stairs.
Being able to move quickly to top of buildings to lay cover fire or eliminate snipers. Priceless.
Carrying that pack plus ammo, water, communication, armor. Not something I see being practical.
That pack takes the space of assault packs carrying ammo for extended fire fights. I guess you could have a MULE fly with soldiers to carry extra munitions.
Plus the fuel source has got to be very limited.
My small UAV I flew in army only had a 45 minute battery life in great weather. Light winds would knock it down to 20-30 minutes of flight time. Not to mention it’s lack of usability in light rains. It’s a great concept but it has to be halved in weight; and fuel life has to be doubled what it is now to be combat ready.
for rescuing civilians of side of cliff or in remote areas. I see tremendous opportunities
This is the real modern warfare… amazing 👍
Хотел бы себе такой ранец, полетать)
Looks like fun shotgun practice.
I wonder if theres any risk of dislocation of a shoulder or an elbow.
what happens if you loose engine 1? flat spin?
Wow
unable to carry rifle, is it possible to make an autohover/pilot one?
