This cover makes me both so happy but so sad. It's like you're glad that someone finally gets it, but you're upset that other people have to go through it too. Such pain, but this cover also captures that vibrancy of the original that just makes it so iconic. I also went and checked out your original songs and oh my god-- they're so sad but also so great!! I feel that "Movies" really does explain some of the modern issues with relationships, which are the high expectations! I personally don't have such a rose-tinted lens when it comes to love, but I know others who do, and it's quite sad to see how those crumble apart.
