I'm 53, and this is one of my all time favorite bands. Was playing Oak Island for my kids when they were little singing "Same Old War". I just looked.... 9 years. Holy Crap time flies and these boys always get better.

This is fire! I never thought this beautiful song could fit well in style of metalcore, but you did it. You are amazing!
Metalcore that is still attached to melodic death metal just opens up so many ways and avenues for beautiful music like this to be translated surprisingly well, it was fun playing in acoustic guitar and getting positive responses from my parents from parts of the same songs they didn’t like with the screaming 😂😂❤️

@@akpokemon for me the original is very lacking and cringe at times (felt like it was written to rhyme poetry crap that didn’t flow well for the verses). This cover alleviates all those issues and intensifies the parts I originally liked to be even more substantial.

I listen to basically only Deathcore & Metalcore but the album this song is off of was one of my favorite albums I listened to last year, really wanted to hear a metal cover of it and this is exactly what I imagined, 10/10.
