What I’m trying to say is masculine doesn’t always equal dominant, there are heterosexual relationship where the feminine women is more dominant than the masculine man, just like there are lesbian relationships where both of the women are feminine but one is the dominant one

speaking as a member of the lgbt community, i think all the questions you asked about same sex relationships kind of depend on each individual couple. typical gender roles follow men and women having certain traits.
in many man/man or woman/woman relationships, at least one of those genders gets thrown out the window so there is no automatic plan to follow, it’s really moreso about individual discussion and what they expect/want of each other. sometimes things/roles are split or shared equally while in others one will assume the role of the “man” or “woman”, it’s up to each couple.
also, some people may just present more masculine or feminine and try to be upfront about what they want, so it attracts what they’re looking for

However, if I was in a closed-off area and the purse snatcher decided to fight for the purse then I would just let them take it, nothing in that purse is more valuable than my own physical well-being.
