Dude is definitely on the spectrum. Crappy thing is that, high or low functioning, people look down on you in one way or another. Pity, revulsion, scorn, labeled as weird. People tend to avoid prolonged contact with you. I mean this in a general sense. But yeah, it gets to a point where you're well into life and have next to no close relationships. It can get pretty demoralizing. Or he may be an Aspie like me. In which case, it's pretty much the same.
