1 month ago I was stuck at the highest Gold and my brother in law was like mid diamond always beat me. I found your channel and started intently listening to every little piece of advice. I'm now mid rank plat and hes still stuck at diamond and our games have gotten alot closer. I find myself yelling during your videos "GET EM COACH" and as you spew advice I'm writing it down. You have a subscriber for life bro.
That is literally important part of the way to improve. You gonna have to do some training (not play, actuall training or freeplay) as well to make the growth more efficient.
@@Av-uv6xu oh absolutely whenever I boot up first thing I do before even joining in a casual game is freeplay for an hour then casual for 30 minutes and THEN I jump into ranked.

I remember how someone on reddit just told me "bro, to leave gold in 3s just dont leave ur half. Just defend and focus on sniping their open nets when they overcommit." So I did, and shot up to plat like nothing. Helped me realize ballchasing has its place in this game, but u gotta stop and think more too to win. And Flakes just dropping mad science here to deeper this (to me) new knowledge. Love it.

I watched apparently jack and learned how to be calm, and ready, how to flow with teamm8s. Watching flakes I learned how to be simple, but crazy efficient and humble and self analyzing myself more. To rely on simple strong sides of mine more. Now thinking more, playing with irl mates is way easier coz we know each others strong and weak sides and we make up for those better than randos where u have to get the flow going from scratch. Everything is tied together, and this series is great source of new info to process for me and implement into own gameplay. Thank you for this Flakes. Much love.
Scrub killa has become so frustrated that way more people are doing powerslide cuts in his 1v2 series. I know the chance is small but I would really like to see you run into scrub in this series.
@@1drsy Scrub just gets a bit too frustrated too easily in my opinion, it's a bad mindset unfortunately and doesn't really work at all in this game. Flakes on the other hand is always calm and collected which is just better imo!

Of all the channels on youtube that try to tell you how to get better, yours is the only one that actually helps anyone get better. Because of all these other channels everybody thinks in order to rank up you need to score off flashy mechanics and nothing else. This channel is proof that mechanics are overrated. I've seen more improvement of watching this channel in the last couple weeks than I have months prior lol.

I think your muscle memory on recoveries and insanely higher in game iq is what makes it look like whatever rank you’re playing is so much easier than it is

I love this series, you actually teach how to play the game. I think one of my issues with the game is not knowing how to distribute my focus, I think a video series with something like an eye tracker would be helpful for learning what needs to be focused on. I feel like an important skill is learning to do all of the mechanics while focusing on the players, but that is hard to practice. Maybe I should spend a few weeks grinding while trying to focus mostly on the players.
How long ago was this prerecorded? Still the player count in the playlist, I hope you have a lot of these videos lined up because I think they're very enjoyable.

This has to be the best Road to SSL series, and the most useful knowledge wise I have ever seen. So many of these types of series, they just overload you with 1,000s of points of information for every specific situation. You don't feel like you get anything at the end of it. This has a few good fundamentals, that are demonstrated to work time and time again. Nice series, how to see some more.

At high champion level, a 2-3 touch air dribble or a double-tap is easier than those perfectly timed powerslide cuts
then just learn how to time a powerslide cut :/
