Oof there is so much in this video I needed to hear, but especially “you need to know that you can have another” and the reminder that we can eat when no one else is eating. I’m pretty active and know my body needs more fuel, but always feel so awkward being the only hungry one when with a group of friends. This is such an important reminder that all our bodies are different, and it’s ok if I need more or less than someone at any given time.

I've had my ups and downs in my fitness routine in 2022 but I pulled myself in the last 2 months and I've been the happiest I've been in a long time, I enjoyed the holidays with my family (whom I visited after 5 months) and it was the best and I didn't feel guilty about not exercising and I feel that is growth for me:))

Hi Linda, I just want to say thank you. I’ve watched you from the beginning and you have truly helped me from struggling with a relationship with food restricting my calories significantly and then calorie counting eating only clean things then the high protein diets. I have come to a point where I realized I have to stop and do something about it because no one in my life will tell me otherwise. So truly from the bottom of my heart thank you Linda and happy holidays!
Would love to know if anyone else is like this/feels like this. So I LOVE these goals and I acknowledge they're healthy (specifically not holding yourself to picking the health-ified version, low cal ice cream, choosing butter alternative, etc.) But I feel like I could only prioritize this if my body was in the state I want it to be. Like it feels easy to say "let's focus on these good healthy things that may not get us to the goals we want the quickest" when you already have that body and have reached those goals. I feel like I can't prioritize that right now when I have these goals and I KNOW choosing the health-ified version will be the most efficient route to getting there (so long as it's enough calories for a day and doesn't taste gross y'know). Like I feel like it only feels easy to dedicate and prioritize these things from the other side of the fence when you already have reached a lot, if not most, of your goals (especially if choosing the health-ified versions of eating is how you got there).
To anyone reading this - here’s a reminder that being able to ENJOY food is just as (if not more) important as fuelling your body for optimal health 🙏🏼 Food is such an integral part of connecting with people and absolutely nothing is worth ruining those moments by obsessing over the nutritional value. This Christmas my family and I had to break with a (for me) lifelong tradition, so my mom ended up cooking Christmas dinner for the first time. And it was so good that I ate more than I usually would. In the past, I would've beaten myself up over it but thankfully I managed to work through some serious issues over the last year and was able to just enjoy the food. I was kinda having one, where after months of finally accepting my body and letting myself workout for happiness and eat however I want whenever I want, I started falling back into restriction and bingeing, but thank GOD you posted bc I think you just saved my December and 2023, thank you, Linda, as always you save my ass

I’ve watched you from the beginning and you have truly helped me from struggling with a relationship with food restricting my calories significantly and then calorie counting eating only clean things then the high protein diets. I have come to a point where I realized I have to stop and do something about it because no one in my life will tell me otherwise. So truly from the bottom of my heart thank you Linda and happy holidays!

Would love to know if anyone else is like this/feels like this. So I LOVE these goals and I acknowledge they're healthy (specifically not holding yourself to picking the health-ified version, low cal ice cream, choosing butter alternative, etc.) But I feel like I could only prioritize this if my body was in the state I want it to be. Like it feels easy to say "let's focus on these good healthy things that may not get us to the goals we want the quickest" when you already have that body and have reached those goals. I feel like I can't prioritize that right now when I have these goals and I KNOW choosing the health-ified version will be the most efficient route to getting there (so long as it's enough calories for a day and doesn't taste gross y'know). Like I feel like it only feels easy to dedicate and prioritize these things from the other side of the fence when you already have reached a lot, if not most, of your goals (especially if choosing the health-ified versions of eating is how you got there).
Your voice is calming you should do a asmr just for fun lollll I would fall asleep so fast!
To anyone reading this - here’s a reminder that being able to ENJOY food is just as (if not more) important as fuelling your body for optimal health 🙏🏼 Food is such an integral part of connecting with people and absolutely nothing is worth ruining those moments by obsessing over the nutritional value.
Try to reframe calories as gaining ENERGY to invest into your career, interests and relationships so that you can reach your true potential ✨ If you can’t do it for yourself, remember that you can only show up fully for others if you take care of yourself properly first 🙏🏼 As ‘wrong’ as it will will feel initially, you have to push through the temporary discomfort in order to ‘reap the benefits’ of recovery, but I promise it will be SO worth it. You deserve a life of freedom and spontaneity and connection 💕

This Christmas my family and I had to break with a (for me) lifelong tradition, so my mom ended up cooking Christmas dinner for the first time. And it was so good that I ate more than I usually would. In the past, I would've beaten myself up over it but thankfully I managed to work through some serious issues over the last year and was able to just enjoy the food. So thank you for posting this video and message :)
