Thank for your reply I am very fond of ur channel nd I am one of ur customer and I am doing done of ur bead works I like ur way of explaining and teaching
There are over 6000 different formulas of super glues out there. InstaNeedle was developed by PaleoBOND where their formulas have been tried and tested holding dinosaurs together around the world for over 30 years. It's strong enough for a T.rex! The two step process insures that your thread is stable and strong when you're ready to start beading.
This product costs nearly $30, and I'm sure one can achieve the same results with any number of other products. Like glossy drops, mod Podge, or even plain glue.
When using man-made thread, like Fireline and Beadalon stretch cord, multiple dips into the InstaNeedleX (BLUE label) creates a coating on the thread that makes it stiff enough to string beads on. We found that it wasn't necessary to dip in the Primer (YELLOW label) first.
Yes, it should although I do think it will discolor the silk a bit more where you make the needle - however, I imagine that you will cut off the needle part when done so it shouldn't be a problem.
Seriously, just use normal super glue or gorilla super glue for this. It's much cheaper and does the job. I've been doing this forever. I'm not sure what the "primer" is...probably just a gimmick.
We tend to use super glue ourselves for most of our projects, but we're usually working with a pretty narrow range of threads compared to the huge variety that exist out there. We like to offer these specialty products because they can be good problem solvers when you run into materials that don't play well with the common short cuts.
Thanks for sharing. It's a great idea for us jewelry crafters!

This is too cool 👍
I just use super quick glue or ANY quick drying glue on the end and snip It when it dries into a point.

This process works wonders to make your thread stiff and strong for beading. It is strong, penetrates the thread and works wonders on most threads.
Says on website 13 right now. 19 when not on sale
Can you use this with silk cord for pearl knotting?
We are glad to confirm Instaneedle can be used with silk cord. Thanks for watching!
Mam can we use this an ordinary threads also
Yes. So far I've found it works great on most threads. If it's a synthetic, like Fireline, multiple dips into the InstaNeedle X gets the best results!
