What you find here is not a line up in an exercise to sweat for money. It's pure talent
Can you imagine, this was live and sounds just like the recorded version. T.P.OK Jazz was a phenomenal band, never to be replicated. For me, there is no greater composer of unwritten music that Franco! This guy was a musical genius and a true legend!
I know, right? I so miss when Music was Music!
TPOK jazz is an international band, under Franco, Simaro, mabiala.kiambukuta,Ntesa and many more.
Better musicians like these will never ever be assembled anywhere again !!!
True African music. What a generation it was to have fantastic music
Michel Boyibanda's dancing moves are legendary
That's true and you're right
Can you feel it?
I officially like Michel Boibanda. His dancing lool!
He is very fantastic, resembling a mischeivous student in the classroom
It’s true his dancing was special🤣👍🏾
Youlou Mabiala had a voice soo good.
Magical!
Dude! Freak YES!
Tu as oublié Michel Boyibanda
I always miss Bisarela..memories of back street Tom Mboya/ Ronald Ngala Nbo, Kenya 🇰🇪🇰🇪, around 2007 with Patoo Githinji, Baitee...after job along Msa Rd..sema Tusker kutembea😁😁
Proper music. Zambia appreciates🇿🇲
What a song
Michel boybanda dancing was on another level
It reminds me de time in boarding school 1978 , P5 kyankowe mityana from zigoti.
Memories of my childhood keep reoccurring to me whenever I am listening to Franco and rhumba music from DR Congo 🇨🇩 of old.
The whole TP OK Jazz band members, whether on vocals or instruments were some sick dudes in their crafts...this band had no slacker whatsoever. And to harness all those egos to come up with timeless piece after timeless piece showed Franco' s genius apart from his great compositions. Amazing
True legends.
I have always had a soft spot for these two brazzavillois... youlou and boyibanda... after they left ok jazz... taste left too!!
Tpok jazz band was fantastic in arrangement and vocal productions.Personally I loved that band ,combination voices ofJosky, Ntesa ,Matalanza, Simaro,Franco, Moyibanda,Youlou Mabiala among the others made my days.Though most of them are gone but their legency remains,Kudos

Amazing, how each member played there role.
Bondo Louis degonzague.depuis kikuit RDC

The vocals of Youlou Mabiala and Djosky blends very well in this particuar song.Micheino as ever commanding the stage with his Dancing. Not to forget Ntesa Dalienst RIP.Franco as ever in his element in the lead guitar. This was before Madilu came into limelight ,sometime in the late 70 early 80s.Notice the youthful looking Simaro .What a masterpiece by OK
Sorry Ntesa Dalienst (RIP) doesn't feature here. The vocalists are L-R Boyibanda, Josky, Youlou and Wuta Mayi

This music is a real distresser
Bisalela ehhh, beautifuly composed , thanks for uploading
Me like the dancer!!! Real African moves.
The Luos in Congo,
I would definitely like to own one of those shiny silvery shirts so that I can rock on it whenever I listen to Franco and TP OK.
What a spectrum of vocals! There is just too much to rhumba than what we have today
So sweet
Simply sublime!
Ageless music.
And the bell bottom generation - indeed my generation.
I love ❤️ Congo 🇨🇩
The senate speaker is a great rhumba fan
