J'y compte de nombreux amis de Matonge au beach, à Ma Campagne, Yolo, Ndili. J'envisage d'y faire un tour en fin d'année pour fêter avec mes amis de Mont Ngafula. Vous êtes un très bon DJ. Amazing Wuta Mayi- Excellent remix. The choice of the song, “Presence Na Gai for the Homage to Lutumba Simaro is quite apt. I do not understand the French lyrics, but the original song had been my favorite tune. Simaro has a reserved facade but his music are pleasantly vivacious. Wuta Mayi and the other vocalist, Elba Top have reproduced the song with no significant change from the original and the modern video version with the glitterati- dancing and eating at the background adds quite a unique glamour and sort of does justice to the tune which sounds as if it beckons us to a “thoughtful celebration”. Wuta Mayi still looks young and still very representative of the original OKJazz vocalists. I recommend that he remixes some of the old songs in a modern music video setting as he has done with Presence Na Gai. It will be fantastic. To our late venerable Poet, Simaro, my respects always.
