Are the spare speaker wires inside the door cavity just a single plugged cable?
Would this work on a 1991 70 series with an updated stereo?
will the plug and play kit suit a single cab GXL 2016? and do you do a 6x9 single cab pod?
The fronts will work on a 2016, the rears need to be wired to the headunit as there is no plug for it at the kick panel.
Does the factory head-unit recognize the rear speakers in this way ? Or does it operate the rear speakers on the same circuit as the front ?
Yes it does. There is rear speaker wiring to the door sill for the wagons.
Does this kit work for pre dpf 2015 model
No it doesn't as there is no wiring in the doors.

Hey I’ve purchased this harness and wondering what year it suits as the harness shown at roughly 4 to 5mins doesn’t appear to have 2 pin connector tails at the front 4 inch factory speaker.

Yes any headunit as it used the body loom

The video doesn’t show how the left front speaker piggy back does not work at all as there is no true plug to plug into. They say it takes an hour which is totally NOT TRUE . I called technical support to receive no call backs while clients car has been pulled apart to return in the same day. Promised calls back but nothing as of yet. Terrible way to treat someone.
Did you end up getting it to work?
