I last rode this line in 1967. I then rode in car #21 and I see it is still in service after all these years as it was on the passing siding at the midpoint stop. Back then it was a funicular up from Lauterbrunnen. I went through my photos and there was a wooden bodied car #11 on a side track at Grutschalp. Is that car still extant?
no, I am afraid it does not exist anymore. by the way, the reason for the change to cable car from funicular was sloppy ground that caused a few accidents.
