I'm about a year into barrel racing, and my horse is a 14 year old quarter horse gelding (he's a dunskin with a lineback) and when we got him a year ago he hadn't been ridden in eight months. He's quite stubborn and always trying to jerk his head going into the barrel turn. Even with a tie down, he'll resist. Do you have any tips for me? - thank you, Emily.

All this has helped me and I tried it today for the first time in a comp and I won first!! Thank you so much!! And my horse used to hate barrels now he runs be himself and loves it!!
