Just bought one. Works great however only tip from my pov is when taking it out of the pool dont stop and let it drain because a certain amount of residual organic matter then falls back into the pool. Just take it out and let it drain on solid land. Or it defeats the purpose.
Hi Mark Just bought the TigerShark seems to clean ok but from half way to the deep end only side to side never makes a dash for the shallow end use it a dozen times and no shallow end. Any idea's.
Hi Damien. Yes if your pool returns are pushing the cleaner away from one end then it won’t go there. So see if you can redirect the returns to allow the unit to come to that end of the pool. MRT
Hi thank you for the video. I jus got mine it Hase a great suction. But the only thing is that the dirt is coming out from the hole on top, what should I do?
These units are designed to keep clean pools clean not so much to clean dirty pools. So if there is dirt coming through don’t panic it just shows the dust is too fine or too much. What it throws up will be caught by the pool filter. This is normal and won’t happen all the time. Run the pool filter at the same time as the Tigershark. MRT
Before I bought this I owned and use a Smart Pool Nitro I thought it did a good job, but after breaking down time and again decided to give up on the Nitro. When I received the Dolphin cleaner I was surprised by how heavy it was. But once in the water and it cleans the pool like it was new. This is a great product and I am hoping to have many free years or a good looking pool.
Hi Mark ..I have had a jet stream robotic cleaner for about 5 years now and it just doesn't cut to the chase and was expensive to buy so want to go back to a barracuda style cleaner so i was wondering if the cheap cleaners work the same as a expensive cleaner ( I have 50,000 ltr inground concrete pool with a liner) ..just wondering if you can help please
Hi LuckyPete yes I can help. there are a few great cleaners out there and there are many knock offs of those great cleaners. It all comes down to the quality of plastics and materials used. I can say that the cheap units do not let very long. That is both suction cleaners and robots. Last week i replaced a base level Dolphin cleaner with one of these Tiger Sharks and the customers were ecstatic. They had never had a cleaner that would climb the sides and scrub the water line like the Tiger Shark does and it cleaned their pool much better and quicker. They also had never been happy with the cleaner the builder had supplied. So in short buy a quality cleaner, don't buy a cheap one it will only frustrate you. I walked onto a customers pool two weeks ago and they pointed at their suction cleaner and said how unhappy they were. I looked and thought I was looking at a Hayward aquanaught. I said that should work great. I pulled it up and it was a very cheap knock off of the Hayward, same colours and all. It just hardly worked at all.
Sandy Spangler Hi Sandy. There is an earth leak detection device on the lead that needs to be activated each time. Did you press that button. Then the on off switch on the box. Make sure they are both switched on. MRT
@@Marksreviewsandtutorials I have the same issue, just received the new device today. I am in the us and there is no lead with that button with mine. We opened the box, got the thing out, put it in the water after making sure it was closed, turned the power on and we get nothing. The power unit clearly works but the tiger shark just sits there doing nothing. Very frustrating given how much we spent on it.
Hengst 2404 How did you go? I would suggest having a look at the booklet that came with it to make sure everything is switched on and plugged in correctly so it can run.
@@Marksreviewsandtutorials well, turns out the wife, who actually plugged the thing into the base station, didn't plug it in properly. So once we corrected that, it immediately started up and is now working

Thanks for your video! Your tutorial helped me out and was very easy to follow.

@@Marksreviewsandtutorials Great!! Thank you so much. Have awesome summer.
I am going to buy one. Are you happy with this machine Today?
What does. Long shark cord plug into ??
Hi Peggy are you in Australia? The long cord plugs into a power box that lowers the voltage . So there is only low voltage running into your pool.

Thanks very much again Mark and I will look into it deeper and will not but the cheap brands
Should you have the pool pump turned off while its cleaning
no you should have it on as any dirt stirred up will then go into the filter
Got my Tiger Shark today. Light comes on but it does not start up. Have not gotten live help from Hayward. Any ideas? I have checked the power source.

Wow that's a dirty pool...
i agreed
Problem with Hayward in Europe is that they are very bad on servicing and advice. French company !!!
