So PlayStation Portal, Backbone, or Remote Play? What do you guys think is the best way to play your PS5 when you're away from your TV? Since this is my first UA-cam video, if I ever reach 100 subs, I’ll celebrate that 1st milestone by sending a random person from my channel a brand-new Backbone One, or DualSense controller like the ones you see in this video. I’ll make a video of me picking one of you randomly, so you know it’s real 😆 Official Rules: No purchase required. Only within the United States. Anyone that asks you to send money or anything, is NOT from me, and I'm not responsible for your actions. After I reach 100 subscribers, I'll select one person from my list of subscribers or from the comments sections of my videos (This is literally the only way I know you exist) to give away their choice of a Backbone One controller, OR a DualSense controller for the PS5. This giveaway is done after I select a winner. Whoever I select will need to contact me via email within 7 days of being selected. I'll give it until 11:59pm Pacific time on the last day. For example: If I select a winner on a Tuesday, they'll have to email me by 11:59pm Pacific time the next Tuesday. If they don't contact me within that timeframe they'll be disqualified and I'll choose someone else. Any information collected will only be used for the sole purpose of delivering the product to the selected winner. After the person I select contacts me, I will send them a random code or keyword that they'll post in the comments section using the same username that was selected to verify that they're the person that I selected. I just recently bought the PlayStation backbone. So far, I like it for being able to use it outside of my home. I don't plan on using it for multiplayer gaming, but works for me so far. Only bought it since it was on sale. I do think that they need to have a way to lock it open a bit to get your phone in.
@@fbom94 Yeah I agree, opening it is kinda weird sometimes. Gotta be careful not to drop your phone 😆. I got mine on sale too! It’s definitely worth it if you can get it discounted.
Hey I got a question, the backbone is now 50$ and I’m thinking of getting it for Christmas. I also have an iPhone 14. Do you think I should get it, because I would also like to play it outside of my house and in hotels or other peoples houses. Should I get it, or no.
@@fortnitechamp7253 $50 to me is a really good deal. I got mine for $70 on sale when I had a 14 Pro max. So that’s even better than what I got it for. Even if you end up with a bad connection to your PS5 outside, you can still use it to play mobile games on your phone or any other game services you might have.
With the largest portal update that the stutter is fixed and that you can stream games is really good. The only thing is that the laboratory of the premium sub will need more games.
@@KillerCEOZ yup, that’s a huge W for a lot of people that had the stutter issue. The cloud streaming beta is nice too, but I hope they allow people to stream their installed digital games like it does on the PS5, and have the same cloud streaming library you get on the PS5, versus the smaller library for the portal.
The problem I need solved - I want to play games while camping, while on my boat, or while on break at work, ie ONLY using a mobile cellular signal (Galaxy S10+). I've watched about twenty videos that basically prove this capability doesn't really exist yet.
Yeah that’s a tough one for camping, and going out on a boat because unless your cellphone provider covers those areas with high-speed, low-latency mobile hotspot, you won’t be able to get a connection unless you’re using a Starlink or something out there for internet. And even then, the latency on Starklink is gonna vary depending on the location. If you’re on break at work, I’d check if your mobile hotspot from your phone is good enough. I use the hotspot on my phone while I’m at work, and it works pretty well most of the time for playing single-player modes.
Yeah it’s perfect if you also wanna game on anything beyond the PS5. I use it a lot for COD mobile and Genshin. Backbone is definitely the way to go for mobile games 👍🏽
Thank you for the feedback, and I really appreciate you watching the video! When both are on a good connection, I honestly don’t notice a difference in latency. I will say though, with remote play I’ve had more instances where the connection freezes for a sec, then goes back to normal. It’s random, and could be a coincidence, but it’s something I’ve noticed more on remote play.
