Tapered Cut TUTORIAL on NATURAL HAIR: DIY

- Hello All! This is a super detailed, step-by-step tutorial on my haircutting process. I’m sorry it’s so long. I did do a few things in this tutorial. I did a:
CUT 1:14-20:43 mark
DYE 22:07 mark
DEEP CONDITION 23:48 mark
& APPLY STYLER 25:28 mark
***BLOOPERS AT THE 29:44 mark 😂😂😂
I have been cutting my own hair for about 10 years now. For the past year or more I have been wearing this style or something like it.
I use clippers and scissors to achieve this look.
I cut everything below my ear with a 1/2 guard (NOT 1 INCH AS I KEPT SAYING IN THE VIDEO😩, fix it Lord). I blend the rest of this tapered haircut with scissors.
Sectioning your hair off is super important to make sure your cut is even.
If you are just starting out please take your time and have a extra mirror handy so you can see the back of your head.
This entire process is very repetitive. So once you got it, you got it!
This was a simple clean up for me however the process and steps would still be the same if you are doing a big chop. EVERYTHING BELOW THE EAR IS YOUR SHORTEST LENGTH. Blend up from there making sure your parts for your sections are even and straight.
I used the following products:
Bigen #57 (I probably pronounce this differently, so hush)
SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Extra-Moisture Detangler (as a styler too)
Emergencia Deep Intensive Hair Treatment

Girllll! you laid that cut out! as a matter of fact, I'm wearing the same cut, tried to cut it myself but got it all wrong. Had to go to beautician to fix it right. Wish I had found your video first before I started cutting mine. It was so awkward for me when I cut mine but you make it look so easy. I see what I did wrong. Your hair look so soft and curly.

This was very detailed! I always screw up my own haircuts, and am forced to cut it over and over again. It's so frustrating, because I actually would like to let it grow out!..Thanks for showing me how to do it right the first time!
