As a casual Postcards’s collector I love to hear u talk postcards and vintage paper and see them. TY
Have been slowly adding paper products to my store. Had my first paper sale today! Sold a 1958 Christmas shoe calendar for sale for about a year! Accepted an offer of $39.99 and only have about $2 in it! Would never had picked it up without your video!!! Easy to source, easy to photography and easy to store!!!!
I need to look into my old catalogs
Helen and Bill Scott at 3:51, I've never ever heard of them. Wish we could have gone around the market with you, but then you said at the end that you had to switch off your camera. Really fascinating video. Thank you, Don. Charles in the UK
Cool catalog. I love the 1920's. So sophisticated back then.
I have a small collection of postcards now ... i'm just right now trying to remove the mustiness smell in them. I'm eventually going to list them but I really don't know what to look for in them and how to price them. A lot of the ones I have are up to 1970s and bunch of them are black and white. They come from a collector in his 90s that was just trying to move some of the crazy collection of stuff he has. Have you thought of doing a video on how to appraise and list postcards? Does it matter what country they are from too? A lot of them too are from Canada and a few other countries too. I also have custom made Christmas card from the area that I think is about 50+ years old.
😮 That Ballou catalog! ! ! Talk about a person’s socks rolling up and down…
Wonderful information as is always the case from Don.
I love finding catalogs
Thank you, man. All good stuff. Hope VD goes away. Thanks again.
Is the Block catalog for boats or is it for industrial cranes?

Question for you Prof, on finding autographs. How do you know they're actual autographs? And is there a way to getting them authenticated? And should you get them authenticated?
I used to collect autographs and the first thing is to find known samples of that person's signature and compare. Beckett Authentication Services will verify autographs if you feel confident that it's authentic. Keep in mind that if it's not, you're out the money. I've had that happen to me. Fees depend on the individual. So if you're going to sell it, determine what it sells for and take that into consideration when determining how much the service will cost. That is my two cents and someone else may have a completely different take on it.
