We are in a day and age where everything weights 1800kg to 2 tons. The supercars that are still light are 1.5 tons
Whenever someone drives a sportscar from the 90's or early 2000's that used to be like 1.3 tons it blows everyone's minds, even with 30 year old dampers, 7 year old tires and literally 30 year old tech. _The feel is amazing!_ look at how simple these cars used to be!
Imagine we decided to build simple and light cars with today's materials and technology! imagine a manual 360 with today's tech! The Murray T50 is an example of what we could do if we wanted but its so limited it costs millions, unfortunately.

My 93 GSi Chevrolet Kadett is like that. Light grey. Not so great in sunny days. But it's beautiful, no doubt.
The problem is the panel reflects bad in the windshield like you see in the video even being a cloudy day. It gets worse in sunny days. Some Mercedes and Porsches solved that having just those upper parts of the panel black. But there are also racing cars that go even ahead and have matte black alcantara on the top of the panel.

I think the 360 was the last of the mid-engine V8 Ferraris that I really liked stylistically until the 488 (everyone raved about the 458, but I never cared for it. The Speciale was nice, though). Particularly in the rear, there's something about the twin round taillights on either side with a simple valence panel (or vented grille in this case) and the Ferrari badge in the center. Stuff like this, the 355, the 550/575, the 456/612, and obviously earlier Ferraris had something like it as well. Its simple, but it just works. This era of Ferrari hits that sweet spot where its modern, but its not so modern that it loses the little things that I love.

Nice to see the sister car of the 360 I own basically identical except for mine being an F1 same colour scheme and all... very much enjoying the drive .... Basically a 1 owner car for 22 years and completely dealer maintained until I took ownership. I have been considering lately a manual conversion just so as to get the best of both worlds.
    Keep the videos coming

The 360 sits in a weird space now as it came after the very 90s esque 355 but before the radically modernized F430.
    Best elements of both perhaps

360 also have 5 valves each cylinder, only 355 + 360 and F50 from road cars have this :)

Back in the day, this car, the Viper, the C5 Corvette were the only cars I drove in need for speed in the late 90s 2000s

Something about 90s and 2000s design that just checks all the boxes.
The technology is established enough to be reliable without being over complicated.
The interiors are clean, uncluttered, and driver-oriented without excessive electronic distractions.
The exterior styling is simple, sleek and timeless.
Now we have grey crossovers and EVs with giant grilles, fake vents, mangled looking bumpers, a hundred pounds of electronic nannies, and a 43" TV glued to the dash.

I live just outside of a city with some pretty run down, poor industrial and residential sections. One day while driving through one of these spots, I saw a dark blue one of these parked out in front of a vehicle service center. I had to triple take at it because I never thought I’d see something like this there. Even better looking in person. It has a wide, aggressive stance that you don’t see with any modern vehicles today.

It sparks so many emotions in me. Lookswise - absolute stunner, without a tiniest doubt. To me, it always looked very non-Ferrari and I like it. In my eyes, it's like a stealth Ferrari. The silver paintjob fits it perfectly. The interior... Man, I never really put my thought into it, but now I'm 100% positive that this is the 2nd best looking steering wheel I've seen, right after 991 GT3/3RS wheel. It's so simple, yet so perfectly shaped and elegant and sporty and ahhhh it's ideal. Normally I would not be excited about a black interior, especially like this one, not very deep, dark black shade, but rather a washed out one, but it fits the silver paintjob and aluminum bits on the inside so well that I can't picture any better colour nor shade of black to match it. The aluminum panels on the doors with the speakers look fantastic, I love that the bolts are visible.
You can live in this, but you surely can't take a house out for a sunny sunday morning drive. ;) Fantastic watch, thank you!
