My boyfriend bought a beautiful Tanzanite emerald cut ring for my birthday from you. I am amazed at the brilliance of this ring! Thank you so much.

I recently found your channel and I was immediately impressed. I told my girlfriend (soon to be fiancé) "I trust this man (you) after only watching a couple minutes of this video". She agreed with me and we're very happy to have found you! While the proposal, and the money for the ring, will be down the road, we both agree that a Natural Tanzanite stone is what we want. Thank you for all the work you put into videos, I hope that business is good and you and your family are well. Take care. 😁

Idk why, but i LOVELOVELOVE the blue violet AA stones. They have this steely silverish sheen and i love it! Mantana lighter blue, teal and blue green sapphires have it too as do certain raw diamonds that i have seen. I know this metalic sheen to be when the carbon molecules line up in certain ways with diamonds, is tbat true for others (well not carbon but the molecular lineup)
I just paid $15 shipped for a tiny stone. .25 ct 4x5mm pear cut. I have never seen something so lovely . i have to match it to another .25 ct 4x5mm pear and a french diamond square cut ( is that also the princess cut?) I can see in my minds eye what i want and i am learning terminology so i can place words on the concepts. I also have a crazy way of designing stones but would like some imput...basically i draw a plus sign or whatever is required for that desired number of sides.... Put a 45° tangent line through the center point of the + .so you have 3 lines and 6 points and 6 spaces. Subdevide each line into an equal number of sections. They do not have to be evenly sized. For ease i choose 4 parts. So from centerpoint to line tip it should be center point , 2,3,4 ,tip of that line...which is now a ray.
Do this to each line. So they have a common center and 4 points evenly placed on the 6 rays we just made.
Draw straight lines connecting said points. Go from #2 to the tip of the next ray over on both sides. ( we are now starting to make free form fractiles btw ) and repeat . 2 - tip. 3-4 ,4-3, if done right you will have made a six pointed star with rounded edges made from straight lines .
Now erasing certain trade secret areas from this drawing, youll probably react with an " well i'll be dipped" sort of way.
Stones and minerals, coins and precious metals, Fine firearms...i need a way to make money so i can make real money. Lol

I so want a tanzanite engagement ring 💍. It’s prettier. White Diamonds are boring to me.

In a larger stone, what shape is your favorite to produce the best color and brilliance?

Large round would be my favorite.

Tanz is so beautiful but too soft to wear daily. It's my favorite stone. Someday...
My Tanz earrings were stolen out of my hotel room a few years ago. I was devastated, as I cannot replace them.

It's only a 6.5 to 7 on the mohs scale folks. It scratches easily and isn't durable for everyday use. It would be ideal for special occasions.

I would NEVER put a Tanzenite in an engagement ring. They are too soft for everyday hand wear. A better choice is a Ceylon sapphire.

My then boyfriend and I went to Tanzania and we got there a tanzanite which we turned into a commitment ring. It was our first big international trip out of Europe. I would never change this ring for anything else. I love it so so so much. For the meaning and uniqueness. Unfortunately at the time we didnt know about the hardness etc, we just picked based on eyesight. I love it so much but I am considering not wearing it everyday because I’m afraid of the scratches. Happy to hear it is possible to polish :) thank you

Thank you for this. I've always been drawn to tanzanite. And shopping online for an engagement ring since im metal allergy sensitive is a nightmare. I know I want that trichroic shine but finding a place that has a listing photo that shows it properly is so hard. I'm currently looking at angara jewelers hoping for the best. Im going to check out your site as well as I trust that your stones would be what I expect.
