    Seeing Loretta singing this song, and knowing how close she was, and how much she idolized Patsy, it just rips a person's heart out. God bless you Loretta...I think Loretta carries a little bit of Patsy with her onto the stage every time since her death.

    My mom used to ba harsh critic of country music. It took a special song to make her like it. When she heard this for the first tim b Loretta, she said..."that lady's the best dog Gone singer I ever heard! She sings with her whole heart". She had never heard Patsy's version or she would have probably said the same thing!

    Once upon a time I was a disc jocky at the only country radio station in a small city in Alabama. Loretta was in town for a concert and came down to the station where I interviewed her. Afterwards she invited me aboard her bus and we ate lunch together...What you saw was what you got with her...she's one of the most unassuming, gracious ladies I've ever met even though she was a huge star then.

    A #1 hit for Loretta Lynn on the Country & Western charts. It was the 404th #1 C&W song of the Rock Era. It also hit #1 on the Canadian C&W charts.

    On this day in 1977 {April 21st} Loretta Lynn performed "She's Got You" on the ABC-TV special 'Sinatra and Friends'...
    And on April 23rd it peaked at #1 {for 1 week} on Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart...
    She also performed "All or Nothing At All" in a duet with Frank Sinatra, a song which Mr. Sinatra took to #2 on Billboard's Best Selling Singles chart in 1943...
    R.I.P. Mr. Sinatra {1915 - 1998} and Ms. Lynn celebrated her 81st birthday one week ago on April 14th...

    I've always loved this Loretta Lynn TV special! I read in many articles that Loretta resurrected Patsy Cline's music single-handedly by dedicating a chapter of Patsy in her first autobiography "Coal Miner's Daughter," recording the LP "I Remember Patsy," which is one of Loretta's many gold LP's, and the supporting character played by Beverly D'Angelo in the Oscar winning film version of "Coal Miner's Daughter."

    I don't think Loretta ever got over Patsy's death, and even today she gets teary eyed when she mentions Patsy's name. God Bless you Patsy.

    On this day in 1962 {February 22nd} Patsy Cline performed "She's Got You" on the late Dick Clark's 'American Bandstand'...
    One month earlier on January 27th it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #14 and spent 13 weeks on the Top 100...
    And on March 31st, 1962 it reached #1 {for 6 non-consecutive weeks} on Billboard's C&W Songs chart
    Fifteen years later in 1977 Loretta Young also took it to #1 on the Country chart...
    RIP Ms. Cline {1932-1963} & Mr. Clark {1929-2012}

    Loretta is seeing and feeling so much of Patsy here...it is both sad and beautiful to watch. This shows how deep love is and how long it endures and survives...it has been almost 40 years now since Patsy was killed. Thanks, Loretta, for helping keep Patsy's memories and music around for us !!!

    @jkalin196511 I agree with you! Fi you see any performances Loretta do of patsy'sd songs she gets all teary eyed. I think Patsy was her only friend when she was starting out. but I could be wrong but thats my opinion.

    there were a few of patsys songs i believe loretta done a better job on but its probably because ive been in love with loretta every since i was a little kid....i think after patsy died loretta did patsy songs with such conviction they were sacred to her because she loved patsy so much

    @MissJasmineKnight Patsy was terribly close to the late Dottie West, When patsy had her car crash Dottie arrived on the seen and picked glass out of her hair and rode in the ambulance, ironically poor dottie died in a car crash.
