This is not an exploit, it's actually a very good strategy - if you sap the air out of the vicinity, the enemy team won't be able to breathe and they will all die.

That would make it an exploit. Like, this isn't an exploit because there is nothing you're exploiting, you don't gain an adventage doing this, it's just a regular bug. Now if it were to prevent the enemies from breathing, you would gain an advantage and thus it would turn into and epxloit

So, the bug with flying sappers has been explained, it remains only to explain the hats suddenly flying out of the air on 2fort.

Here's my theory.
Is not very scientific but it has It's charm.
You see all the blood, the gibus and the body parts are from the ghosts of the new players and the f2p.
So manny gibus players have died in 2fort than now, their souls haunt that map, seeking for revenge on that tryhard who dominated them.

I swear, the indestructible sapper happened to me and I was so confused, now I see everything.
I never realized I could solve the unremovable sapper by picking up my sentry, so for me this is a harmless exploit and a solution.
Now delfy showed us why, we finally know how it happens.
Without him, we'd be as confused as before! Thanks Delfy!

@@ducky7724 Visual clutter, distracting noise, and most importantly it can cause lower fps'(which wouldn't be a problem for Delfy, but definitely for people that have such a nice rig).

Look up sigsegv (just an example, there's more channels). Anyone with a brain could figure out the exploits way before delfy posts them and abuse them way earlier, for example, like delfy does.

well this just happened to me without trying to do it, that's how I found this video lol. So what happens is when you try to pick up the sentry and put it down, the sapper stays on it. Once the sentry is destroyed, the spy can't place another sapper until he switches classes. At least, that's what happened to me.
Ik I'm kinda late to the party but after some tests 99% of time nothing happens but once me and my friend PC just turned off at same time, presumably crashed the server also, maybe some kind of a loophole created infinite sappers really fucking fast

i wish the tf team sometimes kept these harmless glitches in game
they do actually. harmless glitches aren't patched (unless they gives a form of advantage, like the bird scunt one..which allowed infinite jumps.)

They aren't harmless.
I still sometimes get pyro with infinite airblast bug (it's clientside and it doesn't actually make pyro airblast repeatedly infinitely) and that just drops frames so hard I might aswell overlay it with "okay, this is epic" and keep it that way because it's not unfreezing anytime soon.
I'd imagine enough of these sappers would fuck up projectiles or at least particles and that's not good either.

-Spy can't sap sentry anymore because it's being too confusing for new players
