✈🛩 sending you all the bookish joy em. Keep DNFing to your heart's content, I do the same.. If I'm reading a book that gets me down I will now happily stop reading it and pick up something joyful. As they say life's too short for bad books... I'm soo happy to hear that The Pumpkin spice cafe worked out for you.. I'm really looking forward to reading that series.. can't wait! Thanks for a fun video... I have added the Rowan Coleman to my TBR list.. wishing you happy reading!! Have fun!! ✈🛩
Lovely video! Going to order When the War Came Home and will also be reading The Pumpkin Spice Cafe. Also just got another book you recommended The Girl On The Cliff. ✈️😀
I'm glad you're loving your reread of north and south! I haven't read it yet and I would really like to get to it at some point soon. Colleen hoover's books are definitely adult! Although she writes quite immature characters so I can see why they feel younger age. I do think book lovers was better than beach read. Ooh, fun that you are going to start cracking into your Christmas reads!
I'm sorry you're struggling with pain and mental health. I am too and highly encourage avoiding books that make you feel worse. DNF as much as you need.
I finally squared away the downstairs bookshelves, I had a bad habit of placing items in front of books, 2 storageboxes later, I can see my old pals again, including the best biography I ever read, Another Self by James Lees-Milne. I am still staring at a giant Ken Follett on my bedroom bookshelves; I can't bring myself to start that giant at the moment, but I read the others in the series, and they do read fast. I've read the Daphne du Maurier, as well as I remember, I enjoyed it. I'm going to start A Gentleman From Japan, visitor to the court of Elizabeth I, which should also still count as a Tudortember read for next year. Best Wishes 👌 👍 ❤ ✈️ 🛩 🛬
I have ordered the Rowan Coleman book and will put it aside for the spoony Readathon next year . I have nearly finished When The War Came home and enjoying it eye opening . I quite enjoyed The Pumpkin Spice Cafe infact I have kept my copy which is not like me . Like you I have the next two on my shelves. I love Michael Morpurgo books I have recently picked one up from a charity shop 😊 although not read Private Peaceful. 🛬
Have a great weekend Emily,happy reading 😊
Sorry for the late reply but thank you ☺️

I’m not a massive Colleen hoover fan as her writing is too young for me. I’m loving the Christmas books ☺️

Great wrap up as usual Emily 👍🏻
Although Gregory’s story was fun but I did not like his behavior to the heroine in some scenes 🙂
Thanks sweetie ☺️
