We had one of those vacuum bleeders at the shop. It was called a Vacula 🤣🤣. It sure speeds up the brake flush/bleeding process. Great job! Hope you and the family have a Merry Christmas!
@@mlieser1230 i like the one that does all 4 at once. But it's like 15k dollars. I'll stick with my little $60 vac. You have a merry Christmas as well!
@@BeardedFordTech In the days before ABS I used four windshield washer fluid jugs and pieces of clear tubing. One at each wheel. I would crack the bleeders and let gravity do the work. I would keep an eye on the fluid level in the reservoir while changing the spark plugs or checking valve clearance.
Hey Anthony doesn't it matter where the ABS unit is mounted to where you start the bleeding process? My Hyundai Tucson it's mounted on the passenger side front so i started at the drivers rear then passenger rear then front drivers side so on.
@billy2bob63 furthest from master cylinder. Not ABS. Some manufacturers may say start on driver rear due to the length of line they use. Rule of thumb is furthest away from master cylinder. When you do an abs bleed you actually start at the left front and then right front. Right rear left rear. But that's a totally different procedure.
Thank you for posting this video. I like the vacuum bleeding technique, and you explained every step clearly. My 22 F450 isn't ready for this but my 2016 Jeep Wrangler is, and by looking at the color of the fluid in the Master Cylinder it's time. Does anything need to be done with the ABS module when doing this flush? Thanks again Anthony!
Same process for ypur jeep. Exactly the same. Nothing needs to be done to the abs module. Only time you do an abs bleed is if you change out an abs module.
